The Full Scoop

We bought our house two years ago and we wanted it to look great. Although we hired somebody to do yard cleanup last year, the results were disappointing, so we decided to try again this summer.

This time, we hired the folks who were the most responsive and seemed to know what they were doing - Dr. Wood Arborist & Landscape Specialist. Just to double-check, I also looked at their online reviews.

I liked the fact that they wrote down in advance exactly the services we’d be getting, line iteming everything so there would be no surprises. What they did this visit was edge the lawn, lay mulch, trim the trees and shrubs, and remove a big bush.

It was a good experience. They were fast, cleaned up after themselves and did an excellent job. Now the yard looks fantastic, compared to how it used to be.

There is still more stuff that needs doing. Dr. Wood Arborist & Landscape Specialist quoted us a price and you can bet that we’ll be bringing them back.

What advice would you give to other homeowners based on your experience?

Before you hire a landscaper for yard clean up, look around. Find someone who’s responsive, willing to put things in writing and walk you through the process.
