Description: I am Joseph Fratto , owner of Woods by Designs. I have been in the building trades since 1979 and have over 30 years experience in all facets of the construction industry. I was introduced to tools and job sites at a very early age and have been in it ever since. At the age of 22 I was introduced and taught by a retired gentleman who was employed at Ethan Allen Furniture on the aspects of making furniture. I listened and learned a great deal and I've put those skills to use today. I was a resident in Florida from 1979 -1993 working carpentry and drywall through out the state. In 1993 I joined the Carpenters Union Local 87 in Minniapolis MN and worked there for the past 18 years. There I was proud to have par-taken in several high profile projects . General Mills Headquarters, IDS Towers, The Guthrie Theater, Mr Kenvin Garmetts residence. Randy Moss Residance and Mayo Clinic Rochester just to name a few. My projects have been recognized by HGTV, DIY ,Craftsman Craftsman Club of America. Handyman Magazine, Rockler, DeWalt and a few others.
In 2011 I decided it was time to return to the Sunshine State, warmer climate and to be a lot closer to my Parents . Once here I ,seen some off the works being performed and decided to get Woods-by-Designs started here. Fair pricing, quality work and excellent work ethic.
With my experience in working in many areas of the U.S. I learned that each regions decor and styles are different and people in different parts of the region like different things. I provide all carpentry services for Homeowners and Contractors for all their interior needs. What ever your carpentry needs are I can accomplish it. Residential or Commercial. .My Shop is located in the Holiday Tarpon Springs area and I will be serving the Tampa Bay area, looking forward to hearing from you for all your needs.
