I received a call from my father who lives in a Atlanta, to tell me that his downstair basement had flooded from the storm on 9-26 -2024 and that he, who is 87 years old and his 85 year old wife had to go out at 1 am trying to control the water, I immediately started looking for servives in Atlanta that could assist my father. I ran across several places that were very unprofessional and also was trying to take advantage of elderly, but Shayne Walker was God sent!! I can not stress this enough - Walker's Landscaping is hands down the best company I've ever worked with. Shayne was fair, very communicative, kind and our yard looks great! Him and his crew were able to remove our trees in a week's time while others had me on their books two months out. They safely removed a massive tree with no damage at all and got all of the pieces, wood chips etc out of my lawn same day. Additionally, my backyard was NASTY. Shayne brought in a crew and removed all types of vines, wisteria etc and laid bermuda sod and installed a 18x18 paver patio. Our backyard literally is unrecognizable from what it was. Comments: Agreed on a price for removal of a dead tree and repair of a drainage issue at the back corner of our foundation. The tree removal was fine, but the drainage repair didn't solve the problem. When I called Shayne, he got a little defensive and said he improved things, but it wasn't his fault that the drainage issue was still there. From the outset,he was going to charge additional for coming back out. When I challenged him a bit, he became quite defensive, threatened to sue me and addressed me as Bubba. I did not want him back on my property. I would not hire him again.
