Work Description: Backyard landscape and retaining wall
Comments: Lamar is not licensed by the state of GA to perform any contractor work. He installed a retaining wall between my house and a pool that was being installed. He did not know how to properly install a drainage system, and I had to spend an additional $22,000 to repair the pool that was damaged from poor retaining wall damage. I had to take him to court and then garnish his accounts to recoup only a portion of what it cost me to repair what he did wrong. He is never around during the work, and, when I called him while his crew was working, his daughter would tell me that he is napping and cannot be disturbed. He guesses regarding materials needed and tries to make you pay for his miscalculations. He will quote you and charge you for materials that he does not use. He asks for a deposit so he can use your money to pay for his current job. He will not start your job until he collects a down payment for a future job. He has no credit, nor does he understand how credit works. Worst experience ever.Dawsonville GA

Comments: TOTALLY UNORGANIZED, MATERIALS DIDN’T MATCH. OWNER DID NOT SUPERVISE THE JOB. DROPPED OFF NON-SPEAKING ENGLISH STAFF. I ENDED UP SHOWING HOW TO DO THINGS AND ACTUALLY LAND 20 FT OF ROCK EADGING TO TEACH THEM WHAT TO DO. I HAD TO GO AFTER MATERIALS, GAS, FOOD FOR THEM. IT COULD HAVE BEEN A ONE JOB BUT TOOK 2 FULL DAYS. I DEDUCTED A LARGE PERCENTAGE AND WROTE CHECK MARKED PAID IN FULL. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. JUST BAD NEWS!Ball Ground GA

Work Description: Sod, irrigation, pathway
Comments: Horrible person, horrible work! dDO NOT USE LAMAR SLOMER.Irrigation leaked and he woukd not come out until I threatened to sue. Sprinklers shoot out into the street not the new sod. Pathway washed away first rain. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Owner actually cussed at me on the phone. He put in 2 different types of sod and says it's the same but it is very different.
