Had I known I would have gone to Lowe's myself to pick one out but he sent pictures and I chose one. Very friendly, respectful and good sense of humor! Work Description: Switches/Outlets/Fixtures - Install
Comments: I needed 3 ceiling fans installed, 4 outlets changed to accommodate a 3 prong plug, 1 new outlet installed to accommodate a wall-mounted tv, and 2 new light fixtures installed in my kitchen. The job took 2 evenings to complete and it still wasn’t fully completed. I’m now looking to hire another electrician to install the second light fixture in the kitchen. Six o’clock pm is when the electrician was suppose to arrive. I was home and waiting by 5:30 pm. I received a confirmation text at 5:36pm. I replied immediately to confirm. Six o’clock came and went with no electrician. I finally decided to text him at 6:30pm just to double check that he was still coming. He finally arrived at 6:40pm. On that evening he installed the 3 ceiling fans. He said he’d come back the next day to finish the work. The next day I received a text at 6:47pm stating that he was on his way. He came at 7:37pm. He changed all of the requested outlets and a light switch that connected to one of the kitchen light fixtures. He did not install the second light fixture because he said he wanted them to look uniform (I had already stated exactly where I wanted both light fixtures installed). He told me to call him back after my island had been installed and he’d install the 2nd one. Finally, he attempted to install the new outlet for the wall-mounted tv. An unnecessary hole was cut in my family room wall that I now have to pay someone to repair (it looks hideous). As I previously mentioned, I’m looking for another electrician to complete the job. I’m one who likes to tip for all services but on this experience I did not tip because he still charged me full price. Even with all of the inconveniences on my time, the hole in my wall, and the whole “call me when the island gets installed” to hang the 2nd light fixture, I was still charged full price for everything. I work for myself and my family’s business and whenever we inconvenience a customer or make mistake it’s our policy that we take a percentage off of the invoice to at least try to compensate for our mistake. We own 25 plus residential rental properties and are always looking for a great, consistent electrician to build a relationship with. The work he did complete is fine and is working as expected.Omaha NE
