Comments: Worst Ever...I made it clear to Networx this was a commercial strip center and needed someone with experince in small split unints with the air handler in the dropped ceiling and the compressor on the roof about 12 ft high. Some very polite rookie kid shows up with a 6 ft ladder. It was a Sat and involved a leak in the air handler so I had to pay $670 IN ADVANCE just to get up on my ladder than I already had in place as I had already cleaned the drain line with my 210psi compressor. AC was working just leaking. I was charged for recleaning a drain line that was flowing fine. The tech opened up the air handler and was going to clean the condenser with his vacuum and was blowing it off with his wet bac in the blow mode. I suggested he use my compressor as far more powerful and had an air gun on it.I asked about checking the freon in the unit and he said he had no way of getting up there. So, he did put some putty on a rusted pamn and he did blow off the inside of the air handler with my compressor, standing on my ladder.
He did tell me they had a commercial guy and that my 3.5 ton system cooling a 1450 ft office was dated 2004 and I asked for a quote for a new system. He goes to his truck for about ten minutes and comes back with a quote for TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. This is the standard same equipment used in a home but designed to be used in the offices. I have since received a quote from the first guy I call of $7000 to replace all. Tank AC should stick to tanks, this truck had a complete wrap making the truck look like a tank. I know from wrapping a business car, this cost $1000's. The owner of Tank AC would be far better off spending that on a couple of longer ladders and a portable compressor etc.
I blame Networx as much as tank as I was clear that this was an office in a commercial strip center.

Comments: On 1/8/20 I was looking for a professional to give me a estimate for either a repair or replace my AC Unit. I used Networx to help me find a professional contractor to help me. Jose from Tank Air had contacted me. I called him and asked if he gave FREE estimates and over the phone he told me “Yes.” I told him that I was at a commercial location. He arrives and I told him that the AC was on the roof. He did not come prepared with a ladder, but had to borrow the next doors ladder to get on top of the roof to diagnose the AC. He explains the estimate for a new unit and tells me that I owe 79.95 for the service charge. He states that if I hire him, then he would deduct $80. However, the point is that I was told that the estimate was Free not Free with service. He said that he had told me outside and the time it took to open it up and check the AC. I was not happy, but I paid him $80 dollars in cash. Networx contacted me and I told the rep that he did false advertising. If you tell me over the phone that it is a free estimate, then one should not charge me a service charge. He did not state on the phone nor clearly state that there is a service charge for coming out . Networx tried to get my money back, but he did not accept. I know there are service charges for A/C tech to come out, but they tell you up front.

Comments: Tank Air came out to examine my A/C the day after I called them. They came at the time we agreed too. Jose did a complete examination of my system. He asked me a few questions about my electric bill and what temperature we like to keep the house. He climbed in the attic to look at the air handler and my insulation. After some calculations he recommended a 4 ton Rheem replacement. I requested Rheem since my current 3.5 ton Rheem lasted 21 years without a serious problem. Jose listed everything he was going to replace and what he was going to do during installation. I had done a lot of research on changing from a R-22 to R-410 system and his list included everything I found. His quote was very reasonable to start and then he gave me a substantial veterans discount. Tank A/C came out the next day, Saturday, and installed the system in about 5 hours. It was a difficult installation because of my attic access. The installers were very knowledgeable and professional yet friendly. The county inspector came out on Monday and said everything was perfect. If you need A/C work you can't do any better than battle ready 'TANK' !Tampa FL

Comments: Technician Kasey saved me from having to rip out and replace the copper pipes in my antiquated condo 2-ton system, and replaced the compressor, capacitor, motor, etc. He found and repaired my leaks, and injected a prophylactic sealant just in case. He was able to find the only replacement compressor for my system that existed in the state of Florida. It appears that he saved me about three to five thousand dollars, as well as a lot of future aggravation and expense, in that an ill-suited new system would probably have blown out my old, narrow copper pipes.Kasey spent a hell of a lot of time taking accurate measurements and confirming his suspicions about my sclerotic, failing system with seasoned experts at Tank HQ. Sure glad he did! He and partner Dan spent even more time wrestling rusty old components out of their housings. It was an epic struggle, but the Tank guys won out in the end.
I am an old disabled guy in a wheelchair, and lots of people try to take advantage, believe it or not. But the Tank crew were transparent, honest, cautious, courteous and very knowledgable. They saved my ass, basically.

Jose was great, he called me and made sure that everything was hooked up ok and stated that if I had any questions or concerns, to call him and He would take care of any issues. I had another company called ( One Hour AC) come out and diagnose my old AC unit which was only 6 years old, and the Rep that they sent out put on a Fan Blower that wasnt even for my unit , and also replaced 2 capacitors that wasnt properly installed. One Hour AC charged me 644.00 and my AC still broke down.So, please do your Research when calling contractors, because some aren't honest!
