I fell for an advertisement online. Ron Lewis is a skillful salesperson, and I had 11 windows installed on Aug 21. After the installation, half of the windows did not lock closed, be it because of poor quality of the frames, or poor installation craftsmanship. I informed Mr. Lewis on Aug 26. When I mentioned that, I was strung along for three weeks, until the date of this notice. Mr. Lewis promised each week to come and try to remediate the problem, and never came or rescheduled his visit. The windows were manufactured by Mercury Excelum, Inc., and the installation was performed by New England Remodeling.
To summarize, very good salesmanship, poor product, offensive customer support post transaction.

Comments: At the beginning of April I signed the contract with Ronald Lewis to replace 7 windows and a patio door at my house, I paid the deposit so he could place in the order for the windows and door, 3 months have passed and whenever I contact him when he answer me because many times he doesn't, he gives me the same answer that my windows and door have already been ordered and that it will arrive in the next order. I'm about to request my deposit back and am totally unsatisfied.

Comments: Since the early part of October when I signed a contract with Ronald Lewis and gave him a deposit, my work has not been started and he has not returned my inquiry as of November 19, 2020. I'm about to request my deposit back and am totally unsatisfied.
Custom made skylight delayed since Covid we are doing our best to install but this is beyond our ability

Comments: In January 2019 Ron came to our house in Chelmsford, MA & gave us the best price of multiple contractors. We waited a couple months to do this review to ensure there weren't any issues. His crew was there on time & our roof installed in 1 day. The crew protected our deck & property and cleaned afterwards. You wouldn't have known they were there. No leaks, looks great! We would definitely recommend them!

Work Description: New Roof

Comments: I hired Sure-lok to install a new roof on my porch and new gutters and trim to my aluminum sided house as we had been experiencing a leak for several years on the front porch roof and had several contractors "fix" the problem over the years but Ron came by explained where he thought the problem was coming from and gave me a very reasonable estimate.

The men arrived promptly at 7:30 a.m. the next Monday and worked for two days refinishing my trim and gutters and installing the roof.

We have had several compliments from neighbors on how the new gutters and trim give the house a whole new updated look and finally my roof is not leaking.

Bobby from Sure-lok showed me how the previous installers had reversed the installation and by doing so actually created the leaking problem.

my problem was solved and the house looks good and the price was fair. I will use these guys for my new windows next year when I replace them.

Good job I highly recommend them

Comments: Came home from work and there were 3 men working on my roof. They even worked in the dark to finish the job and clean up! Simply outstanding job!

Comments: I needed a new roof, He came, looked it over and qouted a price and the contract listed all work he was to compmit including pulling a permit. He assured me he would get all permits. Once the work was complete he showed up for final payment. My only question was did you pull a permit? He said "yes". I put my house on the market, as I told him I would, the realestate agent went to out town hall to check on all permits and found none was pulled for the roof. I called him and he said he did not pull it himself put had paid a runner to do it. He would check on it and call me back on monday. By wednesday night he had not called me back so I called him only to be put to a message center. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!

Comments: Ron is very personable, easy to work with, came in prepared and answered all questions. No problems so far with work, work took longer than expected, difficult to reach him. Disapointed because there was no clean up after work was done and we were left with having to do the clean up ourselves.
Sorry to hear we get usually good grades on cleanup
