Comments: Merlin was reasonably priced, we had multiple bids from other companies. He is a good communicator, has good instincts about design that made the 3 decks and a screened in porch look marvelous! In addition he provided painting the ceilings of the alcove over the front porch and the covered deck. He was respectful of the work area and cleaned up every day before leaving. I was impressed that the final cost matched his initial appraisal and that he required a final walk through before the final payment. He also requested money as needed during the process and told you what is was for. Comments: I hired Stevens Construction to repair and paint our finished basement walls after having water damage due to torrential rains not long ago. We are completely satisfied with the work done (including tearing out drywall and installing new). Everything was done exactly as described in advance and in the promised timeline. And, all during the project, I received updates about completed work versus what still needed to be done.Communication was excellent.

They were very up front with cost and we stayed really close to budget even with finding things wrong with the house that needed to be fixed. They went above and beyond to find a discontinued siding to make sure they fixed a mistake by the original deck. I can not give enough kudos to Steven’s Construction.
