We know that climbing trees and taking them down with ropes one branch at a time is a risky and slow process. With our "kboom" , we are able to dismantle a tree from the ground in a safe and efficient manner that is also very entertaining to watch.

Comments: Being new to this area (orig from Tampa), we had no connections in DeLand. It was hit and miss, hiring various contractors. We had to fire 4 (or 5) in the first 6 months.From the moment Christian arrived to give us a bid, I knew we would be hiring them, ( his demeanor was that of respect and honesty) before I ever saw the bid - which was AMAZING! I almost felt guilty, it was so much lower than what I expected.
When Justin, Charles and the rest of their crew and equipment showed up, I realized I made the right choice in contractor,. They were professional, equipment - top shelf and the crew was friendly and polite and ready to get to work. They showed up the day after I accepted the bid, as promised. The work went off without a hitch. The work they did exemplified that they worked very well, as a crew. There were some challenges to my property (roofs, gutters, fences, hardscaping) and not as much as a scratch on any of it. I am estimating that 4 - 6 tons of debris was removed - smoothe as silk!!😃😃😃😃😃😁😁😁😁😁 I couldn't be happier and plan on hiring them for rock work in the next few months.

Work Description: Removed trees, bamboo and overhanging branches.
Comments: Brand new to Edgewater so finding a reputable crew to do tree work was at first a bit daunting. However, it was quickly clear that Southern Turf had a great reputation and years of experience. I made my plan with Ricky Hatcher who handled the scheduling quickly and efficiently. The crew arrived early and spent the entire day at the end of which they started cleanup and used a blower to remove debris from around the house. The next morning a crew showed up for even more clean up. Just fantastic service and all crew friendly and courteous. The one thing that stands out in my mind is the work done by the bucket operator, Nick. First, he maneuvered the truck into an impossible position at the rear of my home while diligently avoiding all sprinkler heads. However, his work from the bucket was like none I have ever seen. I told the company owner, Travis, that Nick was simply a “wizard” with the bucket and chain saw. Only hitch was an unfortunate breakdown of the stump grinder.I highly recommend Southern Turf for all of your tree work or related jobs. I had no complaints whatsoever and was very pleased with every aspect of the job.
