Comments: I hired SoCal to replace an old furnace. The furnace was replaced. It was not the upgraded brand that I was told we'd be getting. The thermostat was replaced as 'a gift'. I assumed, for lack of a better word, they cleaned all of the ventilation as we were told they would. The rep, Johnny, that came to give us the estimate seemed very nice. He stated that he would stop by to insure everything was going or completed as he said it would. However, as of today, January 27, 2023, he has not called or come by. At this time, I don't see a need for him to. I no longer trust him. The install took two days. I believe we were told it would only take one day. The installers were nice.Santa Clarita CA

Comments: The four star rating is due to the excellent customer service provided by Jose (who deserves 5 stars) who was able to troubleshoot and resolve a serious error made by the team of installers that was preventing the system from operating correctly. I also give high marks to Fernando (5 stars) who sold me the system and ensured there was timely resolution to my problem by sending out a qualified technician on a Saturday. There was also a wiring error that required intervention by an electrician (Rudy) who also deserves 5 stars. The errors made by the team of installers (2 stars) were all corrected within 1 week of the original installation date, but it should be noted that the original installation team was inexperienced and spoke limited English, making communication difficult, and the errors were serious enough to require resolution by more experienced personnel. On a positive note: the price was fair and was honored (no change orders), price was all inclusive in terms of any required inspections and any additional documentation required by my HOA was provided timely. Customer service was excellent and resolution was provided timely. At the end of the day, the company provided terrific customer service to resolve some serious installation errors, but needs to do a better job of ensuring there is at least one qualified technician included on every installation. While the installation was not entirely a smooth experience, I now have an HVAC system that's running great and I am confident will pass the upcoming inspections.

I was not aware of this until the company supposedly completed the AC & Heating installation and it was horrible. The work was entirely unprofessional and there were so many mistakes and corrections. Comments: The reason for one star overall, is that they never came back or returned our calls when we had a question about how the unit was running. We have waited over a week for a return call to have technician come out and check the unit. This company installs the unit but has no customer service at all once this has been done. I would not recommend them. What good is claiming that you are a service company when they don't come out or follow up. The five stars for quality, price and punctuality were strictly for the installation. After that all went down hill.

Comments: When the technician came to my house he tried to up sellme, telling me what I needed would cost me $2500. I explained that I wanted only to replace my electronic air cleaner so he left. I eventually purchased the unit that I wanted. I went back online to get an installer, SoCal responded and (over the phone) quoted me $200. When the same guy came to install it, he said it couldn't be done for less than $700 because the location of the filter is in a very cramped part of my attic. I refused the bait and switch approach. I eventually got ot done for $200 by a licensed contractor.
