Comments: I needed upgrade on baseboards. Was told 1 person was to come out to price, another person was sent. Agreed on price, day and time to do the job. The day arrives and no one showed up. I called and was told there was a mistake as I wasn't put on the schedule. Rescheduled for the next day at 8 am. Person arrives at 8:08 goes to front door and leaves after 3 minutes. Says he knocked but if he did the dog did not bark but was in that front room. He NEVER attempted to go to the side door or CALL anyone. I called back and was told I'd have to wait 2 more days. Comments: I had Nate and Bill work in installing my new gas water heater. The guys were pleasant BUT these guys at the end of the job stole items I purchased for the job, items they did not use, they put in their pocket to take away. I had to ask them to return and they went back to the van to retrieve it.Secondly, after the job, I had to call National Grid because gas was leaking from one of the pipes they worked on.
Third, the bill wasn't itemized and when I called Nate to discuss it with him, he hanged up on me.
I will NEVER again hire or recommend Rooterman, based me experience with the workers I interacted with.
I have a lot more to say.

Work Description: We have a boiler for baseboard heat. The heat would not turn off in the basement when the temperature reached the thermostat setting (two zone valves/two thermostats). The diagnosis was to replace the zone value for the basement. Since plumber did not bring a zone value (he said he was told we had one - we didn't) so we said we had done that years ago and would buy one ourselves, which we did.
Comments: We paid $99 for the diagnosis only and bought a zone value (about $85). As I mentioned above, we had installed one of these in the past. The issue did not resolve. So we're out almost $200 with no resolution and Rooterman promised someone one by a few days ago and no one showed.Narragansett RI
