Work Description: Concrete sidewalk and patio extention
Comments: Upon meeting Ryan and getting a quote, we received total assurance that if anything was not to our liking, or done wrong, it would be fixed, free of charge. We have a LOT wrong. The crew showed up. There wasn't anyone that spoke English, and I do not speak Spanish. They kept putting an "interpreter" on the phone, who then kept putting another "interpreter" on the phone. They trashed our yard, so we are going to have to do a lot of landscape clean up. They built the sidewalk up on the surface rather than digging down and making it level with our lawn. It slants toward our house, do drainage from gutters is going to accumulate at the base of my house. They did our patio extension 2 feet short of what we had asked for. They promised they'd move sprinklers, and covered them instead. The list goes on. I messaged Ryan letting him know of the issues. I did not get a response. The next morning (Saturday) at 7:15 A.M. his crew was ringing my door bell. Again, no one that showed up spoke English, so we were using Google Translate on our phones to try to communicate. In the end, they made more of a mess of the yard, and left without fixing anything. Because I refused to pay the 2nd half of the fee until they addressed my issues, Ryan and Arnaldo (BC Concrete) came out on Monday to look at it. Ryan did not remember where the measurement for the patio extension came from. But sort of acknowledged that it was not correct. Did not apologize once, or acknowledge any wrong doing. He asked what we wanted done. Out of everything we could have asked for, all we did ask was that they extend the patio the additional 2 feet. We weren't even asking them to dig up and redo what was already there. He said they could come out Wed. or Thurs. I said Thursday. He then went to talk to my neighbor. I waited outside for about 15 minutes for him to come back and confirm Thursday. He did not come back. I did not hear from Ryan again. Thursday morning, I messaged him asking to confirm that they were coming, and what time. No response. Later that evening, I messaged again asking if we were just done doing business together, or if he was going to send the crew another day. No response.Harvest AL

Comments: Ryan and his team pay great attention to detail. I have witnessed much of his work and their driveway replacements are immaculate. They also use 4,000 PSI concrete which they explained to me is about 33% stronger than standard mixes for driveways. Overall I highly recommend these guys and continue to refer them.Birmingham AL

Work Description: Repaired 3 sections of our driveway, one of which was badly damaged by tree roots. They demolished and removed broken concrete, goaded, formed, and poured new concrete. They removed the tree root and ground the stump.
Comments: They did all of this work in one day, paying great attention to detail and doing it properly. In addition to the work that was covered in the contract, they did an additional piece of the driveway at no additional charge. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The owner communicates well, expects excellence from his crew and himself, and addresses any problems that come up during the job promptly and without complaint. Work Description: Concrete Driveways/Floors - Install
Comments: There was initially good communication and answering questions etc. However when the workers arrived there was no one who spoke English and the workers were not clear what they were supposed to do. It took 2.5 hours to get a response and for someone to arrive to address this issue. After this occurred the second day communication was still not possible and we did not know how long until the concrete would take to dry, if we should keep our doors closed etc. The weather was bad during the weekend and we attempted to call again to ask questions as we had concerns about the wetness. (As it is, it looks like some of the surface has been washed away) No response until Monday when I told him the other half of our invoice would not be paid until we had our concerns addressed. Still today we found raised bumps of about a 1/2 inch in the concrete that were not smoothed out. A broken lightbulb with part still in the socket that we were not informed about was found with concrete on the bulb. The workers also cleaned their equipment at the end of the driveway and left watered down concrete that mixed with the dirt. Lastly, the trucks tore up our gravel driveway that we were told would be addressed but was not. Generally the concrete looks decent but the lack of communication was the greatest issue in our experience.Union Grove AL

Work Description: Turnaround Driveway
Comments: I received a quote for a turnaround driveway, signed a contract, then was informed that they only accept cash or check. I offered to pay by card or PayPal. They decided to accept PayPal. We paid half upfront and the other half when they finished. The concrete work was excellent. My problem is the yard edging around it looked like sh!* says their employee. To make it look good would cost another $2k. We declined. On the final bill there was a $500 fee for additional materials and processing fee. We paid only the remaining half because that is illegal. Warning please look closely at their pictures and edging. I think it was done purposely to make more money. Red flag 🚩 any business thats operating on cash and check beware.
