Work Description: Brick and front door stone repointing
Comments: Do not hire this company, they are scams. If you do, don't pay them until they deliver high quality work.I hired them to repoint bricks on the back side of our house and also to replace some broken tiles and repair loose tiles through Thumbtack. Their price was almost 50% higher than other quotes I had. ($6000) I was fooled by pretty pictures in their website and profile. Most likely not their own work as I know the quality of their work now.
They asked for $3000 at the time of contract as they said they will start right away, which they started TWO weeks later. The real problem started when they came here and did a very very low quality work, and left work half finished, but asked me to pay them the rest of the payment (second half of $6000) to pay their workers. (Brian literally cried) But they didn't come to finish the job and fix the problems they have caused. (They only did a small part of repointing and the concrete they had put on stones in front of the house came out right after the left first day and I have sent them pictures showing the situation. The rest of the job was extremely low quality as well.)
I have asked them when they can come to fix things for two months now, and after several cancellations, they gave me April 26th 2024 date but they didn't show up. The said they are busy each time I called them. I informed Thumbtack about it and they apologized and said the company has been a scam and they have closed their account. They never answered our calls after that.
We are in the process of suing them now, but beware and save yourselves from the trouble.
