Work Description: Three-season room conversion
Comments: After meeting with several contractors, my husband and I hired Matt Blette and Precision Carpentry to turn our enclosed screen porch into an office. We are impressed and delighted with the results. Matt and company took a tired, run-down, depressing structure and turned it into a bright and airy space with hardwood floors and beautiful windows and patio door. The work included demolition, foundation construction and earthwork, walls, windows, door, siding, drywall, electrical, HVAC, painting, flooring, trim, and finish work. Work Description: Bathroom remodel. Total gutting of bathroom. New fixtures, flooring. Garage needed new ceiling because of toilet leak.
Comments: I have listed some of the reasons I am very happy with Precision Remodeling, and will do business with them in future remodeling projects.1.) Very professional during estimate. I felt comfortable with his explanation of what needed to be done, how long it would take.
2.) Professionally written proposal, detailing his responsibilities and mine.
3.) Picked up all fixtures, as I didn't have a SUV or pickup truck.
4.) Very respectful of myself and property. Laid down plastic on the staircase and tarps in the hall way during demolition. Always cleaned up at the end of every day. Didn't use profanities.
5.) Wasn't the lowest estimate, but for what was included, was by far the best value for cost and time.
6.) Never cut corners. Hired a professional plumber ( included in estimate.) Professional installation of all fixtures. Kept me informed of progress.
7.) Returned damaged fixtures. Although Home Depot checked all my fixtures for catastrophic flaws, he noticed a chipped mirror, hairline crack in toiled, among other flaws. He did this without any problems.
8.) Upon completion, did not leave any loose ends. Something I was not use to from previous contractors. Work was perfect. My bathroom is BEAUTIFUL! The garage ceiling is now mold free and sealed. Cost never exceed estimate. The work was all done in the time frame stated.
