Work Description: Roof Work

Comments: We were referred powers & powers construction after purchasing a house in albuquerque to perform repairs that amounted $7000 from house closing agreements. First was an hvac repair, when the crew came out the 3 men placed a 2x4 under the hvac to fix the noise and stated there was no need to replace the fan that was hitting internally. Next a crew came out to do patching work on our roof to prevent leaks. The crew spent 2 days and the work appeared to be unfinished. Additionally, a hoodie and bag of chips were strewn all over the 1st level that could be seen through the guest room window. Tools were also left out front of the house. After not hearing from the crew or owner that the work was completed. We reached out via text to check in and cited the hoodie and chips that had blown all over and spread out after a windy day. The owner reached out immediately via call and noted that he would check in with his crew and have this resolved.
Nothing every came from this follow up call and they have not responded to and additional communication to resolve. If you have an opportunity to look for business elsewhere you may see better results.

Recently we have had leaks in the ceiling. After having 2 groups come out to check the roof and roof stucco. It was noted by both groups that little to no work was done to repair the roof and the top level roof stucco was never patched leading to the leaks. As well as 2 different APOC's were used. The cheaper version used more so than the APOC 264 which would have cost the Powers and Powers company more. This cheaper version is already showing wear and very little was used for roof patching so most areas were not fully covered with patching material.
As well as, the 2x4 used for the HVAC is broken.
