This is not accurate or true. I never even looked at the job. I gave him a ballpark estimate of $650 over the phone for backsplash installation, then I called him and let him know I could not even look at the job because I had to start a previously bid job immediately. He said that was fine because he got a $500 estimate from another company. Then he posts this review…sort folks, not accurate.

Comments: Not recommend for flooring. Sloppy work many loose boards excessive waste. Had to hire someone to fix mistakes. Too many excuses.
I finished this flooring. Any waste could not be used to finish any given row of said flooring. I had one loose board. I did a good solid job. You can’t please everyone.

Comments: BEWARE - I wish I had gotten the Seth Parker that was given the 5 star reviews. I did NOT . The Seth Parker I met was unprofessional, self-absorbed and after giving him a hefty deposit, wanted me to front him money for his broken jack hammer. He made me feel very uncomfortable. So after a little over a day, I let him go! He even agreed to return a portion of my deposit I paid him which I never saw...surprise. He is not a man of his word. Good Luck if you do hire him!
In response: I did almost all the taking up of their existing tile when my jackhammer failed. I did not have enough $ to replace the jack hammer that day to finish the demo. I asked if they could take money from the job to replace the tool so I could finish. They decided I was unprofessional for not having money to replace the tool. Then they judged me and posted this review. My previous reviews should speak for themselves.

Comments: Owner Seth worked hard, great job. He also worked at keeping the mess outside. He completed the project on time, and did a intricate tiling of the shower niche that was not on the original plan. I would hire him again and recommend him to others.

Comments: Did not do a great job on the grouting. Left loose ends for the home owner to finish that he should have done. Should have done a much better job on removing residual grout. Missed areas that needed more grout.
In my defense of these comments: When I finish a tile job, depending on the tile, it needs a couple of cleanings with white vinegar and water to remove any excess haze. That is something the home owner does after I am gone. I always explain this to them when I do the estimate and several times throughout the installation. The height of grout between tile is also personal preference. As far as punctuality, I arrived on time or early for this job, which was a 3 hour drive per day. The other comments on this site speak for themselves about my work. Thankyou.

Comments: Seth was great to work with. Unlike many, Seth was very responsive and accommodating to our particular requests and delivered the quality of work and precision we were looking for and is hard to find these days. Most try to rush through a job to get it done and will cut corners in the process whereas Seth focuses on his quality of work and makes sure it's done right. He also made sure to ask and involve us when he'd forsee something that might not look or go as planned so there were no miscommunications or surprises. I very rarely give great reviews but then again I very rarely get the GREAT quality of work that Seth delivers. I will definitely use him again!
