Work Description: Whole house remodel
Comments: I got the house in San Carlos 2 years ago after my mother passed away. It was rented until about a year ago when covid peaked and was left in a terrible condition, it was a real disaster. After that my brother and I decided to sell the house. Our realtor advised us to fix the issues and remodel the house before we put it on the market, he was also the one who referred Nuhome remodeling to us. He said he had several projects with them and they were all a great experience. We still met with 3 other companies and decided to move forward with nuhome. Guy was our project manager and he did sound the most knowledgeable and professional out of the bunch, i felt he had the experience and i liked how straight to the point he is. Their quote was the 2nd highest but I didn't mind paying extra for peace of mind, and i got it. Our project was extensive but luckily our we didn't need blueprints for this project which saved us some time and money. We changed all the plumbing, electrical and floors, we remodeled the 2.5 bathrooms and the kitchen, redid the roof and added insulation. (we also added a/c but with a different company). Guy and Anne (the designer) helped us with choosing material, helped us with contractor discounts in showrooms and also provided great renderings. All in all other than some delays in deliveries the process went smooth and I enjoyed it.Once the jobs started there were no stops, they moved quickly and passed all the inspections. i received photos and updates on a daily basis and was very happy about it.
The result is great, I was so anxious to see how it will all look like I flew in a couple days early. I wasn't disappointed to say the least. Guy and his crew are really professional, creative and amazing to work with. What really stood out is that everything Guy promised he delivered, which to me was the x factor. I met many who promised the world to you before but rarely the ones who also live up to it.
Im grateful for the great service and beautiful outcome, also for not exceeding budget. The house is sold as we expected. Thank you Guy and all of NuHome staff.

Comments: I called Nuhome remodeling to come give me an estimate for my kitchen. Guy came out and we clicked immediately! He was very professional, wearing mask and shoe covers, he listened to me unlike some other contractors who just told me what to do. He took the time (2 hours) to answer all my questions and I felt I'm in good hands. Once, we moved forward they took care of everything, They're designer Allen helped me pick all the finishes and made amazing 3D models, Guy was working with the city to get the permits and the entire team just did a great job. They made sure the floors are covered and the entry ways had these plastic drapes to prevent dust. The progress was smooth, all inspections passed the first time and they finished in 5 weeks as Guy planned. They also sent a cleaning crew that did a great job. My kitchen looks amazing, it's exactly what I wanted, So happy :)-
