Work Description: Home remodel

Comments: Did not complete work. After a year and stalling asking for more money we fired him. Everything done was not up to code or completed and was such bad workmanship. Not one thing was completed. Paint job was terrible done by his two workers. They also messed up the electrical in the house. Had to get it replaced especially the panel/breaker box. House doors would not close. Flooring was put down without underlayment required. Had to get it all replaced by other legitimate licensed contractors.
Have pictures to prove it and inspectors recommendations.
Do not hire him!
This is so not true. The reason why she fired me was because she didn’t want to pay me for any of the extras that she added. It was over $15,000 Only door that would not close the door going into the laundry room and the reason why that existing door would not close is because we added flooring in the old back porch I look absolutely beautiful. As far as electric everything that i did was with brand new electric. The flooring she was talking about was in the basement End it had a backing that had underlayment built it had a rubber backing that was mold resistant and was a moisture barrier. No need for any underlayment. If a customer stops paying work stops and she didnt want to pay. If it was like she said they would have taking me to court and that never happened what does that tell you. What I should have done was put a Mechanical lean on the house. To be honest this should have to be taken off

Comments: Ken and Bret did an extensive remodel in my mobile home. I love my kitchen Ken designed, they installed flooring, painted and my master bath is awesome. The work is very professional and my home looks great. I enjoyed working with Ken on this project. I would hire him again.

Work Description: Switches/recessed lights/ceiling fans - Install

Comments: After reviewing estimates we received from 7 contractors, we selected Power by McGills for our project. Ken and his son not only did a great job installing recessed lights and ceiling fans in our town home, but also accommodated our work schedules and gave us a fair price. He was kind enough to install new smoke detectors and rewire one of our ceiling fans. Ken and his son are professional, pleasant and also cleaned up after themselves. Ken was diligent in following up and keeping us posted throughout the 3-day project. I may have him return for more home renovations next year because of the professional and polite service he provided. I already recommended him to one of my best friends who is looking to install recessed lighting in her family room. Thanks again, Ken!!
After reading this review I cannot understand the scoring on the stars. We were early every time we showed up we even showed up at 4:30 in the evening one time 2 PM in the afternoon another time and worked a 12 hour day and a 10 hour day To accommodate the homeowners availability All of these times were requested by the homeowner. The homeowner then asked me after I spoke to them about the review how could they revise it. We installed 22 led recessed remodeling cans with very minimal to no damage.

Work Description: Fixing doorbell that wasn’t working

Comments: Ken responded quickly to my inquiry for help. He was able to tell me most likely what the issue was and what it would cost to fix it. He stayed true to his pricing and was able to fix the issue. He was even able to fix a back doorbell that has ever worked as well as the front door bell. I am really grateful for his help and will definitely be using him again for other projects. I would highly recommend!
