Comments: Our house looks great now. The interior of the house still had the original paint from 1993 and it had significantly yellowed. Mark painted everything with a lighter shade of white freshening the entire space up! We will use his services again for the bedrooms!San Diego CA

Comments: If you hire Mark Johnson, insist on getting what you want done in writing! I did not and I am sorry.Johnson promised the world, but in the end left with woodwork primed but not painted and one room with a thin coat of paint that still shows marks from the original unpainted wall, including pencil marks and light scuffs. I have to repaint it.
At first he assured me that he would give it a second coat. Then, unfortunately for me, he used the gold paint for that room to paint the second (to be green) bedroom gold. Wrong color! He did not mention this error to me at all or note that it had used a great deal of paint— that of course I ultimately paid for. In fact, I had to alert him the room was the wrong color. This may have been because he was not paying attention to the job at hand, which was done by his friendly helpers. Instead, Johnson followed me around the house finding other ‘jobs’ he could do for me, padding his estimate. One was done fine, but it left the main reason I hired
him—the painting— woefully substandard. Although he offered to do ‘whatever’ I wanted, after ignoring several of my requests, telling me the very badly painted room looked fine, insisting I am picky for wanting a not-visible part of the closet painted ( he had left it bare wood), questioning my taste and my intelligence, I wanted him to go . I paid him to do so.
This man is initially friendly and seems willing, but any difficulty that arose ended up being my fault, not his. Including, I guess, an entire room painted the wrong color as well as the worst paint job I’ve ever seen in one room.
Very disappointed and out a good lot of $$$.
