Work Description: I needed a new roof, and after reading the other comments, I called Murton Industries,and 3 other roofers from this site. Murton Industries Vice President John Helvie came to our house, and spent over two hours answering our question, for the proposal process.
Upon receiving estimates from two of the three on our new metal roof, My wife and I chose Murton industries, as our contractor.
The process went very smoothly, and we were 100% complete in less than 3 weeks. I would recommend Murton industries, inc as the roofing Contractor for everyone!
I found out just before signing the contract that they had just completed GROVE ISLE, A LARGE MULTI MILLION DOLLAR ROOF, ON ONE OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS HIGH RISES IN THE MIAMI FLORIDA AREA, and the roofs had been selected as the best roofs over 40,000 sq ft in America for last year.
I was impressed a company with such a prestigious award would be doing my new metal roof, as well as several roof repairs in my neighborhood!

Work Description: New Metal roof with large flat roof
Comments: I had 7 estimate, and all of the contractors that provided estimates wanted MASSIVE deposits on my metal roof. Andrew, the qualifier actually came to my house and explained everything,He also told me how to check workers comp status and I found that 4 of the roofers had no comp, and one of them was actually buying permits from a roofing contractor, as he wasn,t licensed.
I met with every roofing contractor I had proposals from, and after meeting n person with every one of the, contractors I found that Andrew was tho only ROOFER that offered a proposal. The rest were sales men who DIDN't know much about roof.
We selected Lyndon Roofing and Construction for the re-roof. Andrew advise us it would be a month before the panels got here, and as such it could take at least six weeks to complete and do the final inspection.
Much to my surprise Lyndon Roofing and Construction called 4 days after siging the contract, and advised they needed to tear off the roof ASAP as the metal would be delivered in a few days.
They started the re-roofing process on Aug. 25th, 2008 and construction was complete on Sept 3, 2008.
I met the roofing inspector who said my standing seam metal roof and flat roof was one of the best roofs he had looked at in years.
I hired a roofing consultant to also inspect my roof, since the roof cost almost $100,000.
The roofing consultant was very impressed, and asked me to write a reference for Andrew and Lyndon Roofing and Construction, so he could use it and photos he took to show homeowners the quality of workmanship and to refer Lyndon Roofing to other homeowners.
Aside from the fact that my roof was perfect, he also shingles 2 houses in my neighborhood, and has started another metal roof with my next door neighbor.
The part that makes me the happiest with Lyndon Roofing and Construction is that a neighbor 4 houses down hired a DIFFERENT Company 7 week before I signed the contract with Lyndon, and is not finished yet.
I would recommend that you hire this very professional company for any construction needs

Comments: WE HAD 8 ESTIMATES. LYNDON ROOFING'S PROPOSAL WAS SPELLED OUT PERFECTLY. NO SURPRISES, PERFORMED WORK ON OUR BUILDING VERY PROFESSIONALLY, VERY CLEAN AND CAPABLE. HAVE HAD THEM ROOF 4 OTHER BUILDINGS SINCE. NO PROBLEMS EVER. THE BEST COMPANY IN FLORIDA.HAVE HAD OVER 40 ROOFS REPLACED IN LAST 10 YEARS. THIS COMPANY WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HIRED. Work Description: Repair of roof after Hurricanes Katrina and Wilma.
Comments: Sales team came out to inspect damage and provided estimate on the spot. Once estimate was approved, they had a crew out within 3 days to start the work. Work was completed well within the time listed in the estimate. Neighbors on the block have commented that this is the best the roof has looked in 10 years - even better than when it was brand new.
