Comments: Lou and the installers were friendly. The installers are highly skilled. Lou was on time as scheduled. Carpeted veranda, 10ft X 40ft. Carpeted inside, 24ft X 60ft. Performed quality work. Comments: Lou is not a licensed contractor. Asked for money up front to purchase materials. Then asked for cash for the balance on the day of work to pay the sub he brought in for the work. The floor looks good, but felt we were over charged. He had also mentioned that he could help with other work.. asked to change out bathroom fixtures. BIG issue with this work. Shower head not installed properly and leaked. Had them replace the tub stopper lever. Found when going to use it, didn’t work at all. The stopper piece had been removed. When called the company he stated that it was never there, which was completely incorrect. We even saw it in his hand during the repair. I wouldn’t recommend this company or the people he hires. He spent a 5 minutes to clean and wanted to charge $125 stating spent 1 hour to bring equipment in and out from him car so slowly and left a big pile of water in the hardwood hole way . Lou was able to order a better quality carpet and get it installed for us in less than a week for close to the same price. Installers were quick, very friendly and accommodating to our chaos. Its been 5 weeks of various stories of why he has not received the carpet from his vendor. I'm pretty sure he ripped us off and pocketed our $437.
