Comments: L & S is the best! Blayne knew exactly what was wrong, got the belt needed, arrived on time and charged me a fair price. He knows his stuff and they are a local small business. Blayne made it easy. Don't waste time with anyone else, L & S is 5-star plus.Backstory for anyone else who is searching for a reputable garage door repair company: I learned a lot over the few days I was searching so allow me to share what I found out.
The belt broke on my garage door so I went to Yelp to seek quotes. Whoa, there are a lot of very shady/scammy "companies" (with fake 5-star reviews!!) that hire local people who offer to come to your house almost immediately (which should be a good thing, right?). No. "Anaheim Garage Door" is not a company, it's a front for scammers. I did not know this fact yet when I invited them to come provide a quote. I know price range for garage door repairs but this dude treated me like a moron. A belt is $42 and the labor is roughly $150-175. He quoted me $499 then tried to upsell me a replacement chain for, wait for it...$1,300! I told him to leave my property and never come back. He called me 5 mins later and offered $300. I passed.
The way I see it is, you can put yourself through nonsense, and be treated like a moron, or you can call L & S and get a fair price for expert repair. Either way, I hope I saved you some time and grief.
