Comments: First of all, I take full responsibility for what happened. I knew what Kevin and Teresa were saying was a complete lie, I was desperate for work to be done and they swindled me.
Don’t let them fool you by saying you are now a priority because of safety concerns. That is false, they have a semi-retired person waiting for calls because of the lack of work. You are not a priority, the work that is considered a priority is the cheapest and it will be last on the list for them to complete.
Don’t expect any communication about arrival and departure time, they will show up when they want to and leave when they want to. A 2 day project turned into a 5 plus day project, the worker was there an average of 3 hours per day.
The quoted price is not an invoice, be prepared for a bill at least double what was quoted.
Don’t expect professionalism, Kevin will keep you on the phone for hours and will keep calling you back until he gets his way, if he doesn’t get his way he will threaten legal action.
Never trust a company that won’t come out for a walk thru and send you a proper invoice. You will get ripped off by KP electric, don’t fall for the niceness, they are not on service calls, they are sitting at home doing nothing waiting to rip the next person off.

There are several brands and models of electrical panels and the technician left to gather materals and track down the correct ones specifically needed for your application. This is exactly why we have our Pro Plus Coverage. One of the things Pro Plus covers is shopping. A technician can gather materals before the visit, during a project and the last little thing at the end. It is all covered for $69 no matter how long shopping takes so they are not on a customers wallet.

Comments: Repairman was very nice and prompt but he still couldn't find the smoke detector in our attic despite the constant chirping!
We did everything we could within our scope of work. Our electrical circuit tracer traced through the open areas of bundled circuits, behind walls and in the ceiling. There was no smoke detector on the fire alarm circuit to be found. Unfortunately it would appear there was a discarded smoke detector, on its fading back up battery, tossed in a cold air return duct. This was inaccessible to your technician and beyond our electrical speciality. A HVAC general contractor company was suggested to open up the sheet rock and ductwork to retrieve it. Option 2 is the battery will eventually expire and the chirping would then stop.

Comments: Was provided a dollar range to change out the switches based in difficulty. As a new home i believe the work was exceptionally easy but. I was charged a higher amount. Additionally there was a $69 travel fee that was not indicated during the phone calls or indicated in the text. Total rip off.

Under the Pro Plus; our insurance is engaged, shopping for any materals is also covered, (so no shopping on your wallet), a preliminary evaluation is performed and you are provide a quote, not an estimate, so you can make the best decision for you moving forward. We take great pride with ourselves in taking everything step by step, keeping it in print and informing our neighbors what they are getting every step along the way.

Comments: The guys that came out were great. They were very pleasant and friendly. I will be hiring them again for other wiring issues I have in the house. My only criticism would be when I was given the price I thought that's what it was going to cost, I was not aware there was an additional service charge. But other than that everyone I encountered at this company was A+
It may appear as an additional service charge, because we are transparent and break everything down, but it is not. Being professionals under contract it engages our insurance and is the start of every project. $69 Pro Plus covers many things such as, scheduling and dispatching a certified technician to perform a preliminary evaluation, opening up devices and live panels, shopping for materals any time throughout a project (not on the clock and your wallet), going into attics and much more.

Comments: Chip came, basically told me I need new fixtures, changed a few bulbs and charged me $102. For virtually no diagnostic work to find out why the lights weren’t working. He shrugged his shoulders whenI asked why all the rest of the spots worked but these 8. Don’t waste your $ with KP <<
Very strange that you had this experience with Chip it is not common. He is one of our most requested and loved technicians for over a decade. He did spend just over an hour diagnosing your intermittent and non working lights within the same lighting circuit. He was able to restore a few by replacing the lamps and securing the connection. He did specify the sockets were worn and corroded, wire insulation brittle and others did not have power to the socket. We do not know exactly why. However, he speculated based on previous decades of similar issues there could be a few reasons: most commonly high wattage lamps installed, overrated lamps generating too much heat for the fixture and cause physical damage. It is suggested to replace the physically damaged fixtures.

Comments: I had a simple repair, as it turns out, that a handyman could have done. My existing chandelier dropped and was hanging by the electrical cord. The tech re-screwed the cylinder holding the chain into the plate in the ceiling, and tightened those 2 screws. The total cost was almost $300 for about 10 minutes' worth of work. Unfortunately, as a senior, I can't afford such repairs, and would not opt to contact them again. I had no idea that I would have to agree to pay for a "chandelier installation," with a simple repair. The tech is very capable. But their pricing seems very high, especially given the amount of time the repair took. I am sticking with a handyman.
Dr. Kathryn Chilcote, We have tried calling and following up several times, as customer satisfaction is a high priority of ours. We have documented 2 dispatches for you. 1: To inspect wires and reinstall existing chandelier hanging by wires. Priority Emergency Call with no additional charges for the emergency was provided. A service call and dispatch of $69 was applied placing a licensed and insured technician on site to help service and remedy your problem of a chandelier hanging by wires. As per our phone conversation, it is hard to provide a phone estimate, but I referenced diagnosis prices and chandelier installation referencing our price book. After an overall evaluation, the technician proceeded to install the chandelier. Notes indicate there was all thread pipe installed with the fixture and this was unthreaded at the center of the fixture. He checked over all connections, wire and mechanical adjustments were made. Referring to our Open Price Book, he priced the installation of the chandelier. It was approved and work proceeded. We must address your statement that the technician performed "10 minutes' worth of work", as this is incorrect. Our tracking system indicated: Leaving to your home @ 8:50 and a final check payment made by you and entered @ 11:25 2 to 2.5 hours on site. Chandelier was inspected and installed excluding the crystals and operational upon leaving. Bill: $293 with senior discount. 2: Warranty Return at No Charge as we warranty all repairs for one year. Service Call: The chandelier had fallen again and hanging by wires. Your technician was alerted and a prompt return was scheduled. Concerns of stripped threads were eliminated upon inspection. The chandelier was again reinstalled with extra tightening (above normal install force) on the threaded chase support connection. You proceeded to install the crystals as the technician cleaned up and it was observed and noted: "Crystals were being hung by the customer and the fixture was rotated full circle in a clockwise manner", "This is the mostly likely reason the fixture came down. I stayed behind and hung the crystals with the customer, sharing it is best not to stress the fixture when cleaning and installing crystals." This added an additional 30 minutes to the return call and not charged as a courtesy from us. Bill: $0.00

Not only did he quickly and efficiently install them, it was a snap for him to wire brand new wire lines to our ceiling for the fan. Both Chip and Kevin explained the process in easy to undesrand language. Chip was a dear and rolled with it when I asked him to add on an extra outlet as well. Theresa was quite helpful in the office when I’ve spoken to her about my job and additions to the initial laundry list of things I needed finished in the house. My experience was quite pleasurable. I would highly recommend them for any of your electrical needs. They are reasonably priced and if they finish the job early, they cut you a break as well.

Comments: The electrician came and did the work we needed done on Friday. We went grocery shopping on Sunday we went down in the basement and over60lbs of meat was thawed and ruined. He never turned back on the freezer. My husband was down in the basement with him for a short period of time and saw him turn this off. We just assumed he would be professional and turn it back on. When we called and let them know Kevin was rude and not professional. He also blamed us and said it was not his electrician. He said it went out by itself. We have had it over 8 years and it never went out. We would not recommend KP electric innovations!! We need more work done and we will not be using them. A friend needs work done and we told her not to go to them.

Work Description: I have requested to install four light boxes in each 2 balls total balls eight. He has install for tube light boxes and in each installed 2 balls. I have provided the material only the wiring was belongs to contractor..
The only big problem was that the company never gave me estimate neither by contractor the final estimate. All of a sudden after my job was done the contractor had given me the estimate $800.00 which I have never expected. I was told that each light box with two lights will be costing about $225.00 before his installation but because I am providing material that's why the contractor will charge 150.00 for two boxes and I was understood that this will cost approximately $300.00 and even I have said earlier too.but how the company and the contractor miss understood that I don't know and was kept asking all the the time what will be my total cost that I will have to pay? I was unanswered.
I am ready to pay whatever his bill says, but he did not send his bill yet and I am expecting that he should send me the bill so that without any deduction or negotiation I will pay the check, but I have not received the bill. I am ready to pay all his required bill.
