Work Description: Heavy & light construction
Comments: First, I would like to say that I am not a family member or close friend of the owner & have no bias with regard to this company.They did a good job for me! They worked on a badly damaged rock house and did such a good job I engaged them to build a well house on a different property. They were honest, competitively priced and went above & beyond to provide quality results.
Honestly, based on my experience with them I would not hesitate to recommend them. I fully intend to engage them for future projects. I am not the type of person to make such "feedbacks", but they did such a good job on both projects I hired them for I felt strongly they deserved the "That-a-boy".

Comments: James you make promises and take our money but you can't show up on the job site you can't finish anything and what work you do actually do is very sub par. You started our job on August 28th told us it would take about two and a half weeks it's now been 93 days and not one room in our house is done. My wife didn't get her home for Thanksgiving like you promised her and now it looks like she won't have it for Christmas. You say your a Mormon but your actions say differently. I wonder if you share with your wife and church how you treat people and how you steal their money. A real shame James. We well pray for you but we will also do our best to make sure you don't hurt others anymore in our communities. So please beware of James Ritchie and jtb builders very shabby work poor work ethics and he doesn't mind taking your money with out doing his services.Lebanon MO

Work Description: Bathroom remodel
Comments: I hired James Ritchie at JTB builders to remodel my bathroom with leaky tub/ plumbing. And now only year and half later I had to rip out the low quality materials he used including the flimsy tub and lousy caulking job as well as more subflooring that he replaced due to much more water damage. James Ritchie claimed he guarantees his work. But once I politely called him after a time or two and explained my problem with even worse water leak and water damaged flooring he wouldn't take my calls anymore. Customers please beware of James Ritchie at JTB builders. You will recieve low quality workmanship with the most low quality materials. They wouldn't even spend an extra few dollars to buy the right caulking and do the job right like it was supposed to be done. And they definitely did not fix and plumbing leaks when replacing my old tub with a lower quality new tub. The water damage became worse than before. So in a nutshell I spent $6000 forJames Ritchie to make the problem much worse than before. I had to end up ripping everything out of bathroom again and hiring someone else to do the job right. Customers please beware of this construction company ran by James Ritchie. Please learn from my costly mistake and find someone else for your construction/ remodel needs.
