Comments: They were down the street doing my neighbor's driveway when Jacob knocked on my door to see if i wanted my driveway done since they were in the area. My driveway is 40 years old and i said sure. Jacob gave me a price of $3600 to the job. We shook hands and agreed to the price. After the job was done the foreman said the price was $5500 and that Jacob was new dealing with customers and gave me the wrong price. I had no choice but to pay them. They dug up my lawn, left oil stains on it as well as using my hose and never replacing it. The driveway is very rough in spots and was not installed with the changes i discussed with Jacob. I am not saying this was a scam, but it sure felt like one as again the younger generation taking advantage of a senior. Stay away from them!!!!!Westfield MA

Comments: The work was completed but the crew came unprepared. They took my bow rake, my hoe(I saw Jacob take it) and my short handle pointed shovel. I asked for my items back. Jacob told me bought new ones to replace the missing items. I called them everyday last week. They never did what they said they would and that it deliver my needed yard items. Who takes things without asking? Do not trust them. They stopped over on Monday June 7 because I complained of a lake that develops in my driveway during each rainstorm. It takes 3 days to evaporate. They came to see my issue but really because they could not cash their check due to a snafu at the bank. They promised to come back . Once they received their check they have NEVER responded. I measured the depth of the puddle to 1.5 inches. In the winter this will be ice. We are elderly and this would be very dangerous. It is obvious once they have your money they do not care about you. That is no way to do business. I will be taking this issue to higher means. I would not recommend this company. Beware, seriously. I do not normally write reviews but people must know thaI am totally telling the truth so help my God.Enfield CT

Comments: being professional, will not pick up a phone call or messages. Was told twice they are coming to start working on my driveway. Nobody showed up. My town wants a permit for the driveway, been calling JS Paving to talk about a permit. Having no luck with calls and messages. JS Paving did not say anything about permit when we first meet. They also stated they have a three year warranty, if something happens to the driveway and i call them, i bet JS Paving will 100% will not pick up my calls or show up. I was lied to many times by them. Ive seen recent reviews that after two weeks peoples driveway are cracking up, and poor water drainage.South Glastonbury CT

Comments: Paving of driveway was substandard. There are some very rough areas that did not fair well over the winter. I prepaid for him to spread 2 truckloads of dirt to backfill driveway edges and he still has not done this work, and has not returned countless phone calls and text messages.New Haven CT

Comments: Jacob Stanley riped off my grandfather last year on Twin Lakes Rd North Branford. Took complete advantage of an old man by telling him they had some sealer left over. Told him $35 a bucket then changed him $3000. Jake, your a scumbag. You take advantage of vulnerable people and I hope karma get to you one day.
