Comments: Do not waste your money. He told my grandpa it was one problem charge him $350. Called him back out because the problem still was going on. Charge my grandpa another $200. The problem was fix for about a month. He made it as we were creating the problem. I found another electrician that had more knowledge than Mr. WestHarvey LA

Comments: I was informed by the electrician at Joule Electrical Services LLC that the cost for troubleshooting would be $89. However, when he arrived to inspect the electrical components in the wall, he mentioned that he couldn't find the problem and needed to move to level two troubleshooting. He stated that level one was $89, but level two would cost $175 per hour. I paid him the $89 and indicated that I did not want to pursue level two troubleshooting.Out of curiosity, I asked how many levels there were for his inspection, and he said three, costing $250 per hour for a level three inspection. He charges $175 per hour for work that requires access to the attic and $250 per hour for work inside the walls.
Later that day, I sought a second opinion from a licensed electrician with 45 years of experience. In just 15 minutes, he identified the issue that the Joule Electrician had failed to find and charged me a mere $65 in total. He also informed me that most electricians charge a flat service fee for troubleshooting, with additional charges for repairs if the customer agrees.

Comments: He charged $600 without solving the problem, to come to my place $350 because it was an emergency call according to him. He said that the problem was a bad connect and a breaker. Did not solve the problem. Right after I paid him, I called Crescent City Electric, told me the problem was the fuse, solved the problem in 10 minutes and only charged me $300.
