Comments: It was a disaster !!! This was a scam!We hired Luis for building a three car garage.
JMC/ Luis Carpio required us a $5,000 deposit check. After cashing money he did not get a building permit. For two months from 8/5/24 till late September we made lots of phone calls him and tried to communicate but he has always ignored all our calls and rejected all text messages for a current project. For two months no update and not obtaining a zone permit. He has disappeared and no talk at all. What a disaster for JMC!!! At beginning he was a nice guy and listened to what we wanted. But down the roads after cashing our $5,000 to his bank account he was totally gone, never called us for an update! Since this contractor doesn’t have many reviews online, only 15 and 2 of them was described as a disaster. Most people don’t know what a reality and service quality of this biz are. . Our experience was terrible. Our neighbors suggested calling police for help and investigation. Time was gone until recently we sent him a text to inform him that if he persistently doesn’t give us a project update we are going to take a legal action against him. And then he responded us via text and email for an update but no talk. He shut off his phone with us since 8/5 up today. We even called a zone building permit department to check an approval status. This man is a fraud. We would recommend our neighbors and communities to avoid JMC.

Work Description: Interior Painting 3+ rooms
Comments: Remove chair rails, take up carpet in two rooms and closets, install my flooring in those rooms, remove curtain rods, install pot hanging rack in kitchen, add more shelves to kitchen cabinets. Luis Carpio does it all!!
