Work Description: Sanded whole house to bare cedar shakes

Comments: Hard working, on time, on budget. This was a large and hard job, sanding 25 year old painted cedar shakes back down to bare wood. House looks awesome

Comments: John Brought a group of several inexperienced young people to do my job. He was supposed to supervise them. They painted shut my garage doors and windows and louvers. After several calls John came to free them. A week later I discovered my patio 2x4 ft window was also painted shut. After several weeks of calls and texts and excuses, John refused to come "it costs me money to come". he said. This despite, I was very generous with my payments. I then offered to pay his gas and expenses to return. John got hostile and insulting, telling me "do it yourself ". JK Evans Painting of Trumbull is to be avoided at all costs. I'm 79 y.o. if I could do it myself I would. Avoid JK Evans Painting company

John Evans of Trumbull aka jk Evans painting company is a liar. He uses young inexperienced people without supervision. He refused to fix their goof ups. He's to be avoided ! Joel lichtenstein
This unfortunate review is from Joel Lichtenstein of Westport Connecticut. Joel states that painters I worked with were “inexperienced,” however upon completion of the job, Joel tipped my painters for their detailed work, and he praised them. Joel thanked me for a job that was beautifully done, and also asked me to perform additional work inside his home. After the work was complete, Joel contacted me asking me to return to fix a window that he said had been painted shut, which I gladly did. they are after, Joel called and requested I come to look at another window that he said he had trouble opening. I agreed to do so, and though Joel told me there was “no rush,” Joel then. became angry, and then abusive, when I was unable to return as quickly as he wanted, due to my having Covid symptoms. And though we did excellent work for Joel, and always treated him respectfully, he appears to have some unfortunate emotional issues in my opinion, with which I am unable to help him.

Comments: We were very impressed by John. His initial visit to examine our needs was very engaging. He provided us with a detailed estimate and written contract within a few hours. He arrived on time and was extremely meticulous paying great attention to every detail. When the job was complete, he cleaned and vacuumed leaving our home neat and orderly. Whenever we need any painting in the future John will be our first call. Thanks John. We highly recommend J.K.Evans!
