Comments: I hired Juan Mendoza for general home remodeling which I regret. He asked for more then 10%of the total charges agreed because he states several projects would be started at once and needed the money. He started the work without pulling any permits! knowing he needed to from the beginning so I pulled them as owner builder. work is awfully done that when the city inspector came to check the property and touched one of the outlets he installed the city inspector got electrocuted! which of course Juan Mendoza charged me double changing invoices to pay for his mistakes done incorrectly. He doesn't honor his agreements signed and he's combative when questioned his workmanship. Bottom line shouldn't have a contractor license!!! he already has several bad reviews all over the internetBrea CA

He provided me a quote and the work was scheduled around my tenants time schedule. The work was performed and Juan cleaned up after himself. Juan did a great job.
