Much of his expertise comes from having actually built homes "from the ground up". Belonging to 3 generations of builders, he began his training at age 12 alongside his dad & granddad. Graduating with an Industrial Arts Degree from Austin Peay State University, John Carpenter learned to work closely with house plans. He strives to continue the reputation his family represents. As Vice President over production with Homes by Heritage, John's Model homes were awarded one of the top model homes in the country by Builder magazine.
