Our vision of building a company that focus on customers, continues to evolve today. Serving the Hampton Roads Area since 2005 the company was created by Jon Montes. Jon has hundreds of projects completed to date installing for some of the biggest companies in this area.
Jon is a highly regarded professional and his integrity is beyond question. Work Description: roof leak
Comments: Mr Montes was called to look at a roof leak. H e came to my house as scheduled. After he inspected the roof he gave me his opinion. I was then able to fix the leak myself. I had a prior estimate that was expensive and would not have fixed the problem.I would trust this man with any repair project.

Comments: Jon was very professional, polite, courteous and very quick to respond to all of my questions. His crew showed up at my house very early and completed the job in one day including my 12 X 24 foot shed. My wife and I were able to choose from a wide variety of shingles, all of which were top quality products with a life time warranty. His prices are very competitive and his estimate was $800 less than the closest competitor using the same products. I would definitely call on Jon again.Virginia Beach VA

Comments: Mr. Montes was honest and forthcoming on his pricing and work. His crew was very dedicated, thourgh in their work in taking off old shingles and laying the new shingles in a very professional manner. They were also very thourgh in cleaning up the job site going over the gropunds several times to ensure a thouurgh cleaning. I'd welcome the opportunity to recommen Mr. Montes and have already done so on a couple occasions. The crew was early (7:00AM) on site and worked till dark.Virginia Beach VA

Work Description: Jon Montes was one of the first responders of six different companies that I looked at for my roofing project. He arrived at the time we agreed upon and was very professional about his proposal. After reviewing all of the proposals, I selected J. Montes not only because he had the best pricing, but seemed to be more responsive than the other companies to all of my questions. J. Montes, Inc. installed a Certainteed Architectural Shingle roof with ridge vents, covering up of all old louvre vents and 4 skylights and re-installation of two skylights. Special attention was requested of the skylights, chimney and flat roof area near chimney. Ice and water shield product was applied to all appropriate areas. Aluminum pipe collars were used to replace existing pipe collars.I had a bad experience with a roofer recently, therefore, quality of work and follow through were very important to me in my selection. I felt I could trust J. Montes and I agreed to have him do the job.His crew promptly arrived on the day of the job and commenced work. They were very professional and hard working, and completed the job in approximately two days (I have a big roof). The quality of the work was outstanding and the roof turned out great!After completing the roof, they did a thorough job of cleaning the premises of all debris. I still have not found any nails or other items on the ground since the job.During Hurricane Sandy, we experienced a small leak near the chimney. I called Jon on Monday, October 29th during the height of the storm, and he arrived two hours later to look at it. Due to the high winds, some flashing has detached from the chimney, and water was leaking in. He was able to quickly fix the problem and stem the leak. I was highly impressed with his dedication to customer service even on as miserable of a day as we experienced on that Monday.I highly recommend J. Montes for your roofing job not only for the quality of the original work, but his dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Work Description: removal of old roof and replacing with a new one, drip edge, and ridgevent ventilation
Comments: I was very please with the complete overall service from Jon Montes and his employees!! He was the best priced quote we received. He kept in constant contact with me to let me know the progress and everything that was going on. I was highly impressed with their professionalism and the small details they take in making the customer satisfied. They cleaned up as they went along and I have alot of landscaping, bushes and flowers all around my house. Not a single thing was damaged and every piece of shingle, paper and nail was picked up when the job was done. The whole thing looks amazing and I would highly recommend Jon's company to anyone!

Work Description: Strip old roof, install ridge vent, and install new shingles
Comments: I was very impressed with JMontes roofing. John provided a detailed written estimate. John listened to what our needs were. John did something 4 other contractors failed to do, and that was listen to the customer. He also provided a great price that was well within our budget since this was an unexpected cost due to the fact that the previous roof failed after 13 years. When John's crew arrived on location they arrived around 7 am and were respectfull and kept the noise to a minimum thruought the whole day. His crew did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and ensuring that all roofing nails had been picked up off the hard surface to ensure that there were no unexpected punctures in the tires of our vehicles. I will always recommend John and his company for any and all roofing needs

Comments: I could not recommend Jon any higher. He did a wonderful job. I tipped all of his workers fifty dollars a piece! If I had anymore work for him to do, I would call him back without any hesitation.
