Comments: The worker was punctual and arrived in the time interval that was indicated. However, he did arrive reeking of marijuana. Comments: The last month has been let down after let from different contractors and Refridgeration guys promising to be here and complete the work, so I wasn't really expecting anything different from these guys. I WAS WRONG!!!!I called them late yesterday afternoon and was told they would meet me at my shop between 7am and 7:30 am depending on traffic ( I was thinking here we go again another no show).
How wrong was I ??? The guys showed up on time, completed the work on my refrigerated display unit, cleaned up and the price was very fair.
You maybe thinking to yourself "well there just doing their job"
Believe me its hard to find people who show up on time, get the job done and they don't rip you off. I will definitely be call Hope Refridgeration again for all my electrical and Refridgeration needs.

Comments: Doesn't anybody repair A/Cs anymore? I am sure you are wondering, too. That's why you're reading this review. So the drip pan on my A/C evaporator unit was rusted out and leaking water from the ceiling. I must have called seven A/C repair companies, and they did nothing but have someone in their "sales force" call me back and use all kinds of scare tactics to get me to buy a new unit. It didn't make sense to me because my A/C still cools my condo nicely, it's just drippy.Exasperated, I went on Craigslist hoping to find someone to do the repair, and the second place I called was Hope Refrigeration. I didn't realize I was talking to the owner, Victor, at first, but to my surprise, even before I could finish telling him what the problem was, he knew EXACTLY what was causing the drip pan to leak, and how it needs to be fixed. He knows his stuff, and is very knowledgeable!
It was the weekend, and since it wasn't an emergency, Victor came out on Monday to get model number, take some measurements, etc. He called me back the next day to tell me that the company doesn't make these drip pans anymore but can "fabricate" one; however, it would take 10-15 days. Victor came up with an even better solution: He has a contact that owns a metal shop that can make one, with exact specifications, in two days!
Just like he promised, within two days, Victor and his team were out to install the brand new drip pan. They showed me the old one after they removed it. What a mess! It was completely rusted and corroded. This new "custom" pan is a markedly improved version. It has newer-style insulation, and a rubberized sealant for extra protection. These guys could probably start a business repairing these drip pans that obviously have some sort of defect.
So if you are in need of A/C repairs and "hoping" to find someone who is polite, knowledgeable, capable, and won't try to talk you into unneeded, expensive repairs, I would definitely give Hope Refrigeration a call.

Comments: We had a handyman out to our home to hang some patio lights. In the process, something happened where we could not get any electricity. I called Hope, and they came out the very same day. They were able to diagnose the issue and fix the problem easily. They worked very neatly and efficiently. I will be using Hope from here on out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Far Rockaway NY

Comments: Victor was prompt and was able to get out to my house to help me install a couple of newer style lights into an older home. He was very helpful and helped me out with a couple of other projects as well.Also he gave me a quote to get the job done where as other electricians gave an ambiguous price based on hourly rates. Will definitely use again.
