Work Description: Retaining Wall, Firepit, Pavers under deck, Dry Rock Riverbed, playground area

Comments: Do Not Recommend! A contractor by the name of Dylan from Greenscape Select came to our house April 2022. I explained to him what we were looking for and asked if the work could be completed by July 4th weekend, we had a lot of family and friends coming over. He called Shayne and explained to him what we were asking to have done and he said as long as we pay our deposit, we would be put to the top of the job list. I asked for a 3D computer generated estimate which Dylan said he could provide. He sent me a message back stating the computer program was not working so he sent a drawing. The quote was sent over which consisted of the price sheet of materials to be installed. I, as well as my husband, called several times asking for a start date. Finally, middle of June material's were delivered. It started off with 2 dump trucks of gravel being dumped on our neighbors lawn. Then 2 days in, our deck stairs were knocked off of the foundation, which they fixed, both trees were damaged by their bobcat driver, the retaining wall did not have any Deadman installed, we were quoted for 100 ft of burn treated lumber which we received 71ft. The "firepit kit" we paid for, we did not receive, instead they used landscaping blocks with no safe burning inside. It was placed on pavers that were supposed to have been installed under our deck. The "firepit" was 10ft from the house and 7ft from our deck, which is not usable due to being too close to structures. When leveling the bottom area, they stacked dirt against our 6 ft fence making it 4 ft AND it is Boeing due to the weight of the dirt. The River Rock for the dry river bed was thrown against the fence in a row, definitely NOT a dry riverrock bed! We had a complete mud pit in our whole backyard! We called 7 landscapers to help finish the work to which ALL 7 said everything that was installed by Greenscape will have to be removed. All 7 said they have never seen anything like it. Greenscape charged over $20,000 to which we paid $10,000 and refused the final payment. We tried to work it out with them to which Shaynes reply was "you signed the contract ". They have even placed a lien on our property! Oh I forgot to mention, we also found 1/2 of one truck load of gravel dumped behind our fence without our knowledge! And the playground area was never leveled per the contract. Still trying to have repairs completed 2 months later....

Work Description: Huge project

Comments: We hired this company in May to do around a huge project worth thousands of $ , we went through their financing company which means they have already been paid. They will not return our calls nor are they even at their office anymore! I am so frustrated and disappointed in how we trusted them to do this huge project with several retaining walls and complete sod in front and back. If I do not here back from them, I will be filing a lawsuit!

Comments: BEWARE!!!I do not recommend Greenscape select out of Villa Rica at all. I paid them back in January to clean up my yard from the tornado we had in March of last year. They still have not completed the job. They have broken a wooden play house, water hose and water hose holder rack that attached to the house and landscaping brick. They have failed to replace the play house or the landscaping brick. They did replace the water hose with a hose that stretches (that is not like the water hose they broke) when you use it and a cheap water hose rack. Every time they would come out, they would leave the yard a mess and then we would have to wait for a month or 3 months for them to come back out. They built a sucky retaining wall and they still haven’t been back out to fill in the gaps, like they said they would. The first retaining wall they built fell. They buried all the broken blocks in our back yard without our permission. They had about 2-3 pallets of blocks left. They took them with them. We actually paid for that. We have sent a message asking when they were going to come back out and finish the job and we have not heard back from them. They will block you on Facebook when you reach out to them

Comments: PLESSE not use this company until you have read completely their contract. It basically holds them not responsible for any damage or even the sod that they lay in your yard. My first review was before I actually walked my property to see what kind of job they had done. Oh and the sod that they lay if you have a problem with it it’s not their problem it’s the suppliers problem. I no matter what I complained about that they did wrong they referred me back to their contract which says they’re not responsible for any damage that is done to your property . Buyer beware would never use this company again nor refer them to anybody that I considered a friend.
The entire team at Greenscape Select, Inc. are very sorry to hear that one of our customers is unhappy with the services rendered. Once the project was completed a representative walked the property with the customer to insure that we would address any concerns that our customer may have if any. Once the walkthrough was completed the customer stated that they were satisfied with the results and paid the remaining invoice. It wasn't until the following week that the customer contacted our office with various complaints. We addressed each of her concerns to the limits of our capabilities. The customer is however absolutely correct in the statement regarding reading a contract, we highly recommend that every customer read the contract completely before signing. Contracts for contractors spell out the terms of a working arrangement between contractors and their clients. These contracts include the services being provided, the length and term of the projects, payment details, liability, hold harmless clauses etc... therefore when a potential dispute or misunderstanding may arise, each party will be able to refer back to the signed agreement between the parties for clarification. In this instance if our customer would have done this, then as this customer stated, the contract would have clarified any concerns and the negative feedback would show to be unwarranted and unnecessary. In our contracts regarding SOD installations we clearly state that the customer is offered a guarantee form the SOD farm should any issues arise regarding the product itself. We even provide the customer with a written guarantee issued from the SOD farm directly. Our company provides the service of installing the SOD, we in no way grow the product. In this instance we even contacted the farm for the customer and initiated a claim to help. It is always the intention of the entire team at Greenscape Select, Inc. to provide quality service to our customers. we can only point out that the contract will clarify any misunderstanding and if you fail to read the contract before signing how can you be dissatisfied with the contract after the fact. We appreciate the opportunity to respond accordingly.

Comments: We have two (2) properties serviced: a residential and a commercial. The workers’ job were done haphazardly and bad on both properties. I appreciate the owner’s consideration, ethic, and integrity in correcting the flawed service at the commercial property. The residential property, however, the capability and competence of the workers, specifically, pruning of bushes, was lacking, ineffective, and inexperienced.
I am NOT looking for perfection BUT for a job/service done right where I do not have to monitor the work for the service I agreed to pay. Best wishes to the owner of the company because I believe he is a decent, principled, and an honorable man.
