It's unfortunate that some people are never happy no matter how much you do for them. All that she asked me to do was replace a broken receptacle in a foreclosure home that she was buying. She didn't even know which outlet needed to be replaced. She asked me over the phone how much would I charge. I told her $75 and she thought that was too high but still decided to use me at that price. So I had to e-mail her loan company my license info and a pre-filled out invoice, at which point the loan officer told me that there were also about 4 or 5 missing plates so I said ok no big deal (I didn't charge any extra for this) and then I had to go to the house alone and let myself in to do the work. No big deal really I just feel that it's important to tell that part of the story. I replace the outlet and even tighten up a few other loose plates, because there were no plates missing! So then I was done and a few days later I called the loan officer to see about getting my $75 and he had ended up crediting the customer the $75 in the closing so at that point i had to get the money from the customer which just ended up being more hoops I had to jump through. I had to go back to the house and meet them their to show them what outlet I had replaced because they didn't even know in the first place which one was broken and then I wrote them another invoice and they finally wrote me a check! And she even asked me for business cards over the phone before I went to meet them and sure enough at the house when I gave them an invoice she wanted some cards because she said she had some other work for me to do! Why then would she write a poor review? Very strange if you ask me. Oh and when I got their to meet them they weren't even there! They had left the house to go get something to eat so I had to wait a while and they had told me that they were there to come over! So there you have it. I don't usually talk this way about money because I appreciate every penny that comes my way , but if I had this to do over again then I would not do it for $75. All of the hoops and legwork I had to go through alone was not worth $75.
