Comments: Blake is a scammer, NO knowledge in construction. Hasn’t paid ANY subcontractors that did plumbing and HVAC or electrical. Blake is a one man show, no laborers. We signed a contract with home in 3/23, he started work in October because he as a GC didn’t obtain permits. It’s been 5 months and NOTHING is operable in our home that he took apart. Yet was given a 80% deposit for the job. We sent more money for materials that he didn’t purchase or will he provide as he has been fired and removed from our property. Please do NOT get scammed by this scammer!!!! We are out over $66,000 dollars. Blake will not respond my calls, emails or texts. Blake has not dropped off materials we PAID for. He takes clients money and doesn’t do the job! Horrible service!!!!!Millsboro DE

Comments: Due to a serious lack of communication, incorrect phone numbers and no information, I believed that Blakye of Good Ol Boyz Maintenance was scamming two Senior citizens. Not so. Blayke and co-worker traveled a long distance from Laurel, De. at the appointed time to repair the irrigation system. Work Description: Custom millwork for our entire home
Comments: We purchased a 2800 sq ft home at the beach and wanted custom, luxury millwork for virtually every home in the house. After getting a few other estimates, Blake was recommended by another contractor and he came out the following day to give us an estimate. I showed him the custom millwork designs that I knew were out of the ordinary. Nothing seemed beyond his capabilities; we decided to hire him and he started a week later.Blake's work ethic was great; he showed up when he said he would and, despite my continuously adding to the project, he didn't stop until the project was complete. He had full knowledge of the materials available to him quickly and confidently quoted us pricing and options that were always reasonable.
As for the workmanship, the designs exceeded our expectations. I've been told by dozens of other contractors that our home should be featured in a magazine; understand my humility here. I don't say this to brag; I say this because Blake's work is THAT good.
With a home this size and with the extensive work required for Blake, there were two rooms where the wood used didn't fit the design that we anticipated. We set up a call with him, told him our concerns, and he was here the following Monday morning pulling the wood down and starting over. He never complained and the finished design, with the new materials, was perfect.
He backed his work; if there were minor cosmetic details that needed fixing he got it done and always went above and beyond to ensure our home reflected our design requirements. He's an exceptionally skilled contractor and an incredible human. We'll work with him on future projects without reservation!
