Comments: Terrible. They made an appointment for an estimate, showed up a day and a half later. They were supposed to do the job yesterday at 2pm, still haven't seen them. No phone calls either! Bad contractor. Don't use them.

Comments: my story: I filled out one of those online "request a free quote" things. you know, the ones that immediately after you hit submit you get like 900 emails and calls. well, titan tree service was the first to call (and the only one I answered lol).

they came by for a free quote just 2 hours later. initially the quote seemed high to me, so I let the rep know I will keep the company in mind. well, by the time I walked back around to the front of the house, the owner had come out of the truck, and basically said " what price do you have in mind for the job?"

I named what I thought was fair and reasonable, to which he responded and said "I will give you that price for all of, and I'll trim your other tree (that I hadn't initially wanted on the quote) as long as if you're satisfied, you leave a review when we're done."

I said, okay well you've left me with nothing to say no to. i went ahead with the service. a little while later the crew shows up, cuts down 2 medium-large trees, grinds 3 stumps, and trims another tree and is done in about 2.5 hours. they left no mess, piled the extra cut up wood I asked for from one of the cut down trees, and then went on about the day.

very satisfied with the company and the service and I'll be calling them back again if I need any tree services in the future.

Comments: Awful awful company. Didn’t show when they said. Came on their own when I wasn’t home unannounced. Did half the the job and cut other branch Les they were supposed to leave alone. Left my driveway full of a tree branch blocking in one car and unable to park my other, lucky if I pay these guys and not file a complaint with bbb
this customer got a beautiful job done…we were very backed up due to the storm damage in the area yet I showed up and did the work, he called back said we didn’t finish a removal we came back and finished it up…he didn’t mention he was upset about the one branch we removed on a tree over his deck until we came 3 days later to pick up the check which he then offered to pay us 1/3 of the cost…he took advantage of a hard working company…such a shame

Comments: Work was done well, and I was happy with that, however I do not have time to chase down a receipt. Trying to hunt them down and get a receipt is not professional. Fortunately, I have a picture of their truck and men in the trees or I would be out $2500.00 in insurance reimbursement. I need this recedipt ASAP. Also, Jose lied and stated he lived 11 miles from me.

Comments: We will be writing the Better Business Bureau with our many complaints. Here are a few. Jose increased the estimate after day 1 by $2000. He requested the full payment of over $8000 prior to the work being completed , assured us he would return to complete the job, stated 2 more times he would return on specific dates. He never has returned and ceased all communication.

Besides leaving an unsightly front yard, he left a large pile of a type of concrete stone (still there) and large cedar logs from another job in our driveway. This has presented problems as we host airbnb guests and they have difficulty with parking.
The first mistake was completely butchering an enormous oak tree in our neighbor's yard. We asked for a light trim, primarily on the side next to our pool. The tree is completely bald, and the neighbor is NOT HAPPY.
The men were very hard workers and very pleasant, but had no supervision or direction. I ended up attempting to provide direction, though they spoke no English.
On a side area of the yard, we requested that no pavers be placed . This was not heeded and pavers were placed there. This and the neighbor's tree incident took up valuable time and the tree took a large chunk out of our budget.
One row of pavers were placed around the shrub beds. The rest were stacked on the lawn for a 2 week period.
We were guaranteed that all the shrubs around a large brick wall would be trimmed back. This was not done.
We also were told small pebbles or rocks would be placed in the shrubbery beds in the front of the house. This was not done.
The new trees were placed in holes, but never filled and the ground around them was not leveled or raked.
We are 76 and 77 years of age, but have nearly completed most of the job and will leave some for next year.
Jose stated to me he was an honest man and would definitely return to finish the job. Personally, we feel he is very dishonest and not trustworthy.

On a positive note, the workers were very sweet, worked extremely hard and fast. The equipment was very impressive and included a chipper, large trailer, and several pick-up trucks. The chain saws and other tools appeared in good and safe condition.

Comments: Titan Tree service came quickly when I needed them. They have a large crew who carefully climbed 3 very tall trees and cabled the limbs to be sure they fell slowly and under controlled circumstances. They also thinned out a privet tree and shaped it up, and cleaned up and thinned out and opened up an overgrown landscape area at no extra charge. The supervisor Fernando who was there that day helped to make sure the crew cut limbs to my satisfaction and even sent a crew member back into the tree a second time to cut down a dead branch that was easily missed, and did this with a pleasant eager to please customer service. Thank you Jose and Titan Trees.

Comments: The crew of 6 showed up very close to 9:00, just as they said they would. I was so pleasantly surprised by that after getting the go-around from another for weeks on end.

They got right to work, all over the place, trimming and cleaning up various trees and even a spare pile of storm-damaged tree stuff. One was shimmying up a tree, no problem there, as others guided the ropes for a safe falling of pieces. Just a bit over 2 hours of hard work, and the yard looked like a park, beautiful.

Comments: Quick to give estimate. He said he had a job to do Sat AM about 15 mins away then could come do my trees. I didn't expect until at least noon but as of 5pm I never heard from him. Phone call or text saying he couldn't do would have been nice so I could have done my shopping and baking sooner knowing I didn't have to go meet him.

They were a day late for the bid meeting and they started the job a day later than we agreed to. I was quoted one price and billed about $100 dollars more. The work was incredible and fast once they got on site. Just wish they would have communicated when they realized they were not going to make their appointments. That said I would use them again.

Comments: This team is very quick and efficient. No time wasted. I was really impressed with how they tackled it. We basically went from an overgrown forest to actually being able to see our house. The trees had been dangerously close to messing with our foundation, one on a gas line and another knocked down some of our gutters. Everything is cleaned up and they even leaf blowed at the end. Really great team.

Comments: I had several trees damaged during the ice storm and I contacted Titan Tree Services and they did a good job. They cut broken limbs in the trees and remove debris that was on the ground and cleaned all the leaves from my yard. I would recommend them .

Comments: I would like to provide a review of this company, but will start off by saying that I failed to do due diligence in reviewing the comments on this company and just relied on the fact they were listed on the Home Advisor website. In retrospect, I wish I had read the reviews. So my fault. I’m hoping that others will be smarter than me and read my review, which is more or less a list of the extremely disappointing things that happened to us from this vendor.
1. They didn’t show up for our original date to bid project. I had to call the company and he apologized for not coming so I gave him another opportunity as he was so insistent that he would do a great job.
2. When he did reschedule, he came into my house a dragging mud throughout my house from his shoes.
3. Planted the wrong jasmine. This company has no understanding of plants and the differences. He planted a ground cover jasmine when he should have planted a climbing jasmin. He didn’t know the difference. I had to do the research for him. They still have not replaced the Jasmine.
4. He brought family members to the work sight, which created a liability to me as a home owner. What if they got injured. This alone should scare you as a customer.
5. They used my equipment like my pool brush to clean mud from my patio that they spread all over. They used my hose to spray the mud of the deck most of which went into the pool. I have pictures of all of this.
6. They dropped muddy rakes and equipment into my brand new pool. It was disgustingly cloudy. They said the chlorine will clean it? Really?
7. They scratched my brand new pool deck in more than 10 places by doing construction on my deck. The deck had a special coating, which they totally disregarded. I have several pictures.
8. Originally he did not deliver on our agreed design claiming that by adding a new item during the bidding process meant he had to remove other things we wanted. Only problem is he did not communicate those changes to us and when we brought them up they insisted it was a miscommunication on our part.
9. On many occasions he said he would come and do work but he would never show up and would not call.
I literally would have to call and remind him the night before about his promise to come finish the job. He would say he was coming, but never would. I cannot tell you how many promises were broken.
10. He would say that he paid a certain amount of money for plants but later we would find those same plants at local stores for more than half what he quoted us. Always ask for receipts for purchased plants.

I reviewed a few of the five star ratings this company has received and I’m completely surprised as my experience with them was horrible. This company has no idea about what it means to be professional so I can’t help but think the other 5 star ratings are fake. Constantly throughout the process they kept reiterating that it is their goal to get a five star rating. They were so interested in the five star rating that they lost track of what it meant to provide great customer service. I spent $6000 on this project and i can guarantee you that I did not get what I paid for. So I guess you could say that our failure to do better research resulted in this outcome and we deserve it. The reason I’m posting this review is because I don’t want anyone else to have the experience that we had. People, do your research, get every detail in writing, but if you are smart, do not use this company.
