The story behind Family Christian Doors In 1998, owner Brandon Bailey started servicing garage doors with one of the now largest garage door service companies in the United States. After inviting Jesus Christ into his life to be his Lord and Savior in 2000, Brandon's desires started to shift. In 2003, he left the company and started Family Christian Doors. However after that repair another issue arose and I needed a new garage door opener. My repair man. Neff. Didn’t think twice. Grab his phone called the office and explained my issue and they gave him permission to stay and out a new door opener and with all that he did fix and replace my rollers and the springs were replaced and job completed in a little over 2 hours and in time for Neff to move on to his next job without being extremely lateThe opener ans the door are so quiet it’s amazing. The house is 40 something years old I don’t think that door has ever been that quiet upon opening

My impression was that it was Saturday afternoon and he had other places he wanted to be. Plus the spring they replaced a couple of years age was smaller than the one on the other side. And the person I talked with tole me they wouldn't come back out since I didn't accept their first offer and I needed to go else where So I did. Comments: Nef installed a beautiful Garage Door Opener! We are very pleased.He was overwhelmed that our house is over 30 years old, and he had never seen a Genie that old! After he had completely installed the new one, the power cord to the unit was too short to reach the power source in the ceiling, and he was going to use an extension cord (and then wrap the excess around the unit; it was too long).
I refused that solution, and told him it would negate the Warranty (which he assured me it would not) and was an electrical hazard. After several calls to his boss and to my husband, who was not present, someone walked him through a solution: Go get a black extension cord, cut and splice it to the cord to the unit. It worked. What should have taken an hour and a half took over three hours
Maybe more training for the Installers! In his his career, he will encounter older houses!

Comments: FCD was very responsive to my predicament and sent someone out that day to assess the situation and fix the immediate problem so I could use my car. I decided to install new doors on both openings and FCD had a 3 man crew out the next day, a Saturday, to install. Their price was comparable with other companies and I liked the fact they were easy to work withand I didn't have to wait until Monday as I would have with other companies. Comments: I was a little skeptical at first about advertising as a Christian company, so I read the about us link on family Christian doors. After reading I felt better because the owner had the guts to share his personal testimony. I thought this will either be really good or really bad. I had been trying to get someone to do my door for months, after several misses with high prices or company's not calling back or wanting half down and "we'll come back in two weeks " or "the door will take three weeks to order." I was super frustrated. I felt I was going to be taken advantage of because I'm in a commercial building.Not so with family Christian doors. I called they were so friendly, cheaper than everyone else, installed the door the same day, even with the technicians having to run to hardware store and do a little extra because of my walls. I couldn't be happier with this company and can say that they live up to their name.
