Work Description: Driveway, Sidewalk and Patio pavers
Comments: Extremely rude, unprofessional and untrustworthy. I hired them for my driveway, walkway and patio work as they did a few projects in our community. John and Joe looked at the work and later we agreed on a price over a phone call with Patrick and John. Apparently John and Patrick were not on the same page about the project. Right from day one , Patrick kept on screaming and yelling at top of his voice for every question I asked him about the project saying they are charging very less for the work (Nonsense). I have a audio recording of their behaviour but dont want to upload here because I respect their privacy, unlike them. I was on the verge of calling the cops but stayed put because of John. I stopped dealing with Patrick after a couple days but the misery continued. The guys who do the work are ok but they messed up my entire lawn, didnt fix the sprinkler heads they moved (which they promised they will take care) and didnt do all the work they agreed to do. At one point, I was so fed up with these crooks that I wanted them to just get out of my property. That one star is for John else I would have given these people a Big 0. Please avoid them at all cost.East Orange NJ

Work Description: Walkway/Stairs/Driveway
Comments: This is a follow up to the previous comment left for EMC Paving after they completed the job. We were initially pleased with the job EMC Paving did, but a few days/weeks after giving our rave review we experienced some issues with the work performed. EMC Paving used paving stones to create the steps. A few days after the work was completed we noticed that a few stone pavers were loose. When walking down the steps one toppled over and our child almost fell. EMC returned to put glue/adhesive on the steps, but it didn't hold. We had to go to Home Depot and purchase a adhesive and repair the steps ourselves. A few weeks after some rain fall we noticed that the step landing was caving in. We called EMC numerous times and spoke with John who said they would stop by to take a look. No has shown up. On one call he stated that he wanted to wait for the steps to settle an cave in as much as the would cave before repairing them. The steps are seriously caving in and we can not get EMC to return to fix them. We need to get railing (city ordanance requires) and we can not until EMC fixes the stairs. We This job was done around Memorial Day and we still can not get our railing because the job has not been fixed. We are aslo afraid that whe they come to drill the holes for the railing this "system" will not hold up and possible crack. I feel we have been more than patient and I would hate to go to court over this. EMC, please fix our stairs!East Orange NJ

Comments: John and his crew from EMC did a fabulous job! The quote was good and the job was done very quickly. I hope all everyone who has stopped to admire their work will call them to get their next project done....they will not be disappointed.

Comments: I have been using Edward for about 15 years. He is very responsible and finishes his job on time. If anything needs to be redone, he will redo it.
