Work Description: concrete parking lot
Comments: DO NOT USE. I hired John to remove and repour a 3200 square foot parking lot at the above address 2300 N street. the original cost was $26,000. Upon the concrete being removed he said that he needed to add some heavier dirt as the dirt below was to soft that was and extra $5,000 that I agreed to. Upon the completion of the job I texted him about a week after and he said that it would take about a month for the concretes to cure and match. After a month the concretes did not much. He came out a week later and said to give it until next summer as it can take a while for the concretes to cure and match. I didn't believe him and continued to press to the point where he had the concrete company come out and in that conversation he said when he saw the two toned parking lot he thought that there may have been a dye put in. So he lied to me earlier about saying it would cure next year. Out side of that meeting he is saying it is the concrete companies fault and the concrete company is also taking no responsibility. I now have a two toned parking lot that I did not request and as I dealt with John for a standard parking lot that is one color I expect something to be done. He is not doing anything about it. So I will start with this formal complaint and begin to take the necessary steps to get a remedy.I am now questioning whether the dirt needed to be made heavier for an extra $5,000 and I also did not want a two toned parking lot as it looks like crap and I told him that I needed a clean looking parking lot for the clientele that I deal with. A two toned parking lot is not that.
He refuses to give me the receipts for the purchase of the concrete which was over two days as i'm still questioning if it was even the same batch of concrete.
