Work Description: Fence project
Comments: On Dec. 28, 2021, we hired Chris Yellot, owner of Diamond23, LLC, to install a chain link fence. He gave us a quote, and we gave him $4,918.59 as a deposit to purchase the fencing materials. Chris bought 28 posts and some concrete. He knocked down about 70% of our old wooden fence, dug 13 holes, and installed 4 of the 28 posts he bought. This work took place over 3-1/2 months. We got tired of waiting for him and knocked down the rest of the fence ourselves. During those months he had excuse after excuse for not coming out and installing the fence. He told us time after time that all the materials were purchased. On April 8th, 2022, I drove to the business that he was purchasing fence materials from to pick-up the remaining materials he said were purchased. There was no order for those materials. All the excuses was because he had spent the money we gave him on other things other than our fence and didn't have any more money to finish what he agreed to install for us. We asked for a refund on April 8, 2022, of $3,861.68 taking into account the posts he had purchased and the little amount of time he spent here. All we are asking for is a refund for the unfinished work and monies that should have gone into our fence. We have yet to get a response from him for our refund.Mead CO
