Comments: Our business hired this company to complete electrical subcontractor work. We made two payments through their online card processing company and were provided a final receipt showing $0 owed. Final payment was made November 13, 2023 for $2,475.55. The job was completed and we had no further contact with this company.On December 15, 2023 we received a receipt of payment to this company via email - charges in the amount of $2,475.44. We immediately responded that this was in error. We did not receive an email response. We then contacted the owner Johnson through text message. He claimed that he was out of town and had not made the charge. We did not hear back from him and for several days and reached out again. He final responded via text and claimed his accountant could not find evidence that the funds were received by their company - even though we had been emailed from his company with the payment receipt. We then went to our bank and were given proof that the funds were deposited into his company’s bank account. Once we provided this Johnson stopped responding. We reached out via text, email and through his website. We have had no further communication for 4 weeks and believe he fraudulently charged our bank card and knowingly stole the money from us.
