Comments: Lee, from Citrus Tree Service had given me a free estimate of what he would charge to trim some of my trees and to remove three trees. I told him it sounds reasonable but I want to get another estimate to get the best price. He said he understands but i should sign this quote to keep that price. He said he would call and give me a date when he could start.I then waited for R&R to give me an estimate which he did and they gave me a better estimate to do the same thing.
I then called Citrus Tree Service one day later a recording advising to leave a message. I advised them that I was canceling their quote and was going to use another Tree service. I never heard back from Citrus Tree Service.
Now , after five days Lee called saying he was coming to take care of the trees. I told him I had canceled his service and was going with someone else. He said I couldn't cancel because I had signed a contract. I told him I don't want to use his service. He became irritated when I said Florida Law says I can cancel within three days.
