Our History
Conner Plumbing Company was established in 1905 by Charles Conner, my grandfather and Mike Conner, my uncle. It was a family owned and operated business since then. Foshay Tower in downtown Minneapolis and War Vessels in Duluth are both jobs they have worked on. During the Great Depression however, the business was roughly hit, but the business still continued its operation adding my father to the staff, Jack. Years later, I as well started working with my family, until I received my Master Plumbing License, and since then I have been offering Plumbing services in the Golden Valley area through Charles Conner Plumbing Inc.

Comments: Sorry for the long review!!Overall I was very pleased with Mr. Conners! He came a day earlier than expected but called to make sure it was ok to do that! Something had come up on his schedule so he worked me in earlier rather than later so I was extremely pleased with that!! He installed a sink, touchless kitchen faucet and garbage disposal . Got it all done in about 3 hours! He struggled for 45 min with the garbage disposal I bought, and we ended up not using it and he went out and bought me a cheaper one (which ultimately saved me money, since the original i bought which was a insinkerator was over twice the price)! When he returned with the new one he took it out and showed me how it is suppose to go together and then went and showed me on the one I bought how it didn’t go together and it worked! But I had already filed for a refund on the insinkerator! I felt like he spent extra time getting it to work and ultimately couldn’t and then came back to it and it was fine he shouldn’t have charged me that time he spent trying to get it put together. He is a professional I thought he knew what he was doing , and he does know his stuff but not being able to get my insinkerator to fit together for 45 min and then came back to it and it went together perfectly and then the extra charge for it seemed a bit steep. He quoted me $450 over the phone give or take extra parts and what not ( I bought the parts, i went to the store myself, total cost was $750.00 way more than I thought but he said he had to charge for the extra time he spent with my insinkerator trying to put it together which ultimately did go together but we didn’t use it. I do understand things come up and you might have to do a little more work or buy extra parts and what not, but i got my own parts. So the extra $200 was for additional labor??? Plus $100 for garbage disposal plus the $450 he originally quoted me came to $750!!!!
Also, he never caulked around the sink which we never discussed but I felt like we should have done something with that. I would recommend him for your jobs but be prepared to spend more then he tells you. Overall He is a good, prompt and fast worker ( he comes with an assistant to help out where needed) and if you ok with higher prices he’s your guy.
