Work Description: Bathroom tile work
Comments: Charlie did not do any of the work. He dropped off his assistant in the morning and inspected his work at night. His estimate was way off because he kept adding more and more to the price. You would think that a contractor with the years of experience he claims he has would know how much plywood, tile, etc... to buy after measuring.The tile for the bathroom floor had some squares with defects but yet his assistant used them and laid them down. There were 2 extra boxes of tile.! Why he didnt think to look for tiles in the boxes without the defects is a mystery. But now the floor is down and would have to be ripped up to change the 6 tiles with defects.
His original estimate was pricey, especially for a senior citizen whos on a fixed income, but he came highly recommended so I hired him. Whenever I had a question, he never gave a definitive answer. All he talked about was everything else that needed to be done in my home (trying to get more work I guess even though everything was in working order) and his sick wife. Very unprofessional.
I would never recommend this company. The work is ok but not worth the money I paid.
