Work Description: Bathroom remodel
Comments: I hired Helping Hands to come in and take over a job that I previously paid someone else to do. They came in and reconstruct my closet into a bathroom and did a marvelous job. The other guys completely srewed me over and left it incomplete and a hazard. That was no problem for this group of gentleman. I am so pleased and would recommend them to anyone.Fort Worth TX

Work Description: Remodel bathroom
Comments: Robert came into my house he gave me a quote of $2,000 fee request $1,000 to be paid up front this was before any money any work was ever done as he was doing the work he came back to me stating he on the bed it his self and he deserve more money I refuse to pay him any more money he left the job and haven't came back with the bathrooms unfinished so basically he took $1,120 from me he's such a rip-off not professional at all talk to his employees horrible using profanity in the home to his employersFort Worth TX
Work Description: Replace old 6 feet fence for an 8 feet fence, with treated cedar wood.
Comments: Robert sounded helpful, came to the house to talk with us, inspect the area and to write a quote for the project. In the estimate he wrote the fence would be an 8 feet treated cedar wood-on-wood fence (I am not sure about the term but the idea was to have privacy), metal posts, a large rolling gate for the driveway (rounded) and a walk-through gate for the side also rounded shape. All I can say is that Robert has no idea how to quote: he gave us a price and agreed that we would pay half at the beginning and half when he finished the job. Just a couple of days in it he came to ask for more money. Next week he complained that he needed more money because the quote was incorrect. He told me that I could see the price was to low --hello!, I have never paid for a fence before, I remember asking him if the price was correct and he saying yes before we agreed on giving him the job. The one that has no idea how to quote is him, this is his job, he does this for for life and according to Robert, for many years. We sincerely doubt that.
The odyssey does not finish there. Yes, I am afraid we were dumb enough to believe his Christian and family man spiel, but not only he does not know how to quote, apparently he doesn't know how to properly build an 8 feet fence since he placed the posts for a 6 feet fence instead. I also asked him several times, at the beginning of the project, about the permit required by the city and he stated "you don't need it, I have built many 8 feet fences around here and never needed a permit". Well, the joke was on us, we do needed a fence permit, and when the fence was inspected we were told it was poorly done, with posts to far away in between, not enough screws, no covers for the posts (on the top so the water doesn't get in). He did not finish the gate, just left the crappy fence down and said he was not able to make it stand and roll (he kept asking for more money! and we gave it to him, fools we were. The small gate that was to be rounded and he promised I will get that was another crappy job that had to be redone by a professional and reputable builder (Buzz Fence).
Robert, on top of that, after confronted with the fact that we needed a permit, asked us for $150. for the permit. We gave him the money, and he never placed the permit at City Hall (I have called several times). I called Robert too, and he said he would bring the permit (more than two months ago). He had to hire Buzz Fence to fix the horrific and bad quality job that was done by Robert, naturally we payed more, but now the results are gorgeous. Visit first Buzz Fence, it won't be more money in the end and it will be worth it!
We need for Robert and this company to return us at least the $150. dollars we gave for the "permit" that was never done.
Don't be fooled, hire someone else.
Unfortunately everything I am recounting is true...and there is more but not enough desire to relieve the experience.
