Work Description: Pavers - Patios, Walks & Steps - Install
Comments: Paid a total of $6,402.78 in deposits via direct bank-to-bank wire to install an approx. 400 sq. foot paver patio that can sustain a weight of a future hot tub and gazebo. They never completed the job after more than one month (first deposit on 7/11 - it is now 8/16). Multiple instances of complete-by and material delivery dates which go unfulfilled. Workers don't show up on time, or even at all. Talked down to by owner Zachary Audley and given many excuses, including employee turnover/firing, weather, unrealistic expectations, broken trucks/machines, flat tires, etc. From my security footage, not one proper machine ever showed (including a wheelbarrow to move dirt, or a plate compactor to flatten dirt/gravel). Instead of paver delivery on pallets, they delivered 175 pavers of Lowes quality not sufficient to support the weight of a hot tub and gazebo per my consultation with other professionals. During the job, they dug two mountains of dirt, moving one pile to another where the pavers would eventually lay. Security camera footage showing employees flinging shovel-fulls of rock instead of using a single wheelbarrow. Ultimately, a mountain of dirt was piled on the fence along with construction debris/metal frames they brought to my property from their other projects - burying the debris in the mountain of dirt along with trash, bottles, and cans so that the fence gate could not be closed. The mound of dirt along with debris bowing and damaging the new fence. Failed to clean up the site when asked 2 days ahead of my Airbnb guests - citing a flat tire. Other contractors were hired immediately thereafter to clean up their mess for the safety and security of my Airbnb guests. I do not recommend doing business with Zachary Audley d/b/a Blue Sky Property Services (aka Coastal Property Services). Formal complaint filed seeking mediated resolution and partial refund for failed completion of project and remedy to damages made to other parts of my property. Additional criminal (i.e., illegal dumping, financial crimes/fraud) and/or civil actions contemplated against owner and company pending results of mediated resolution. Comments: I originally left a great review. However, the “repair” to our toilet actually left it worse (now we can’t use it at all). Multiple emails, phone calls unanswered. Zach eventually said he would send someone out to fix it. No one ever came. Very disappointed. Still can’t use the toilet and will probably have to pay someone else now to fix their mess up.
