Comments: Black Painting came highly recommended from my friend who has a house that was transformed after Black Painting did their magic. My house needed so much work. The back of the house where we spend much of the summer on our deck gets a lot of sun looked terrible. The stain was down to bare wood in parts and we had a lot of wood rot. Additionally the pollen that comes off the trees has always been a problem for us. We made an appointment with Black Painting and Charlie who runs the company came over and spent at least an hour with us going over what he thought were our best options. Charlie is so knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. In the past I had a painter who cut corners and I knew from my friend that her experience was great. Charlie knew my budget and was able to cleverly deal with some minor wood issues that kept the project in the budget that I had set. My house went from a 1 to a 10+. I cannot express how happy I am with the painters and with the choices made. Charlie even gave us some color ideas and they were excellent. We needed our garage and front door painted and along with the grey on the house I feel like my 1997 home is brand new. They do not rush the job. They are careful and clearly take pride in what they do. They put an additive in the paint to help with the pollen issues and recommended a solid stain which looks so much better than the semi-transparent stain that was on the house. I am going to use them in the fall to do interior paint work. If you want to talk to me about how pleased I am ask Charlie and I will talk to you. I don't often give such stellar reviews but when a job is so well done a great review is warranted!Montauk NY
