Work Description: Concrete repair/pool repair

Comments: How I wish I had seen these reviews before hiring Belvin. He charged 1800 for the items- repair a concrete column, repair two cracks in my concrete deck and match existing color, repair pool surround where mortar was cracking. He came the first day and repaired the column with the wrong type of mortar and the pillar is crooked. He sanded the two cracks but covered with the wrong color of paint so now my entire pool surround is two colors. He “said” he completed my pool surround but, again, wrong color mortar and all he did was put a thin layer of the mortar over the cracks- it immediately all came off- he was supposed to replace one area where a stone had actually come out of place- again wrong color and the stone is completely crooked. We’ve been attempting to get him back out to fix all this- he was supposed to come tomorrow and, surprise, surprise- again he can’t get the right color and now he’s saying I took advantage of him! The job started the end of August and here it is, mid October, and we’re still no closer to agreement and now he’s being very disrespectful and refusing to complete the work. He sent me 1000 of my 1800 do now i paid 800 for a crooked stone column and my concrete patio is two toned and in awful shape- I’ll spend more to get someone to come fix his work than if I had done it correctly the first time. DO NOT pay this man until all work is done to your satisfaction. Here comes across as very nice and helpful- don’t fall for it. Buyer beware
I did everything in my power to make it right from seeing i was being played from beginning by saying material was on site now i have to eat $809.54 worth of non refundable …i refunded $1000 of $1800….honesty wins over even even in slander.

Comments: Belvin never followed up after the first meeting or showed up when second appointment was scheduled. He kept saying he will follow-up, but always a no-show, twice in a row. Very unreliable and unprofessional in my opinion, but glad that I found out about this challenge before giving him any work.
Our aim is customer satisfaction…..reviews shouldn’t be used as a tool to injure/defame a business when that business chooses not to provide a service to you,more so when it was communicated.

They were on time, clean working, respectful of my area they worked in and my neighbor’s area of work— as areas were combined. His entire work ethic was a gold standard service to this customer! From first contact to end of project, Belvin Gaines showed high integrity and honored his background as a proud United States Vet! He knows what he is doing, explains the process, and was able and willing to discuss supplies - with choices for finished project. I appreciated the choices for finished project given. I will be calling his company for projects in the future!

They arrived on time and were very thorough in their clean up process. The fence looks amazing and Belvin and his son did exceptional work. Comments: Like many other reviewers, I agree that Belvin and his team were courteous and polite. Professional is how I would describe Belvin personally. But at the end of the day, my new concrete patio obviously wasn't properly sloped away from the house (too high). So I will always have a puddle (2ft x 7ft) of water between the existing patio slab, and the new slab. It's honestly very disappointing and stresses me out since I just paid over 5k for it.

Comments: I've decided to give him a nickname, "The Butterfly Walker". WHY? Because I have never seen any mover move furniture with such gentleness and care as what Belvin did. Not a wall was touched nor a door jam bumped the entire time he was there. I had researched movers I could afford for 3 days before I found Belvin. After meeting him I knew that what he had said was exactly what he did. I had asked God to send me an Angel who could help me find what I was looking for. The Angel he sent was Belvin. You can't make a mistake by hiring him. God Bless Him!
