Comments: Bobby and his crew came to look at the damage we had from hail 6/23 and I asked for a quote to paint our house, oversized 2 car garage and 2 wooden sheds. I never thought I’d be able to afford professional painters and my husband and I would end up spending the next 6 months every weekend doing the work like we’d done once in the past (awful!) but the quote was very reasonable and the work was completed from power wash to finish in 1 week. Awesome work! They went above and beyond doing the trim on our sheds when we said it wasn’t necessary and we warm and gracious in person!! Highly recommend! Comments: I would definitely warn others of concerns before hiring BAM Painting (aka Bobby the Painter) and a major problem of paying 50% of his estimate in advance.I was first contacted by Mr Martinez with a quote to power wash, repair all damaged stucco and then paint my entire house with a paint matching the original color. I considered the estimate to be fair and planned to schedule the work. I found him to be friendly and charismatic and seemly knowledgeably so prior to scheduling it, I discussed and committed to other projects that I had been considering, including the removal of a front patio deck, hauling away the debris, repair any damaged concrete and then applying an epoxy coating.
After the deck was removed, we discover that the existing concrete had shifted so it was decided to have it leveled (mud jacking) prior to applying the epoxy.
We proceeded with the house painting as well as two other projects. BAM Painting had requested 50% of payment in advance and on August 11, 2021, upon completion of all work, with exception of the epoxy treatment, I issued a check for the remaining amount.
On September 1, the concrete leveling was completed and I texted Mr Martinez advising that I was ready to proceed. He texted back that he was out of town but would contact me of Friday, September 3 or at the latest, the morning of Monday September 6. Since Monday was Labor Day, I understood why I had not received a call. On Tuesday, I tried the first of many attempts to schedule the work (three more texts, one phone call, an email to his brother and a certified letter) all with no response. As a final act of desperation, I filed a letter of complaint with the Colorado Springs BBB and, as you may surmise, he did not respond.
If I had any doubts that the projects would not be completed, I definitely would not have started them. If he will not respond to schedule the remaining work to be done on my patio and to discuss minor problems with the other projects, I would like a refund of at least, the 50% ($300) that allocated for the epoxy treatment.

The previous owners painted dark/ugly colors, and Bobby was able to create a whole new house with his painting skills!The crew was punctual, dependable, fast, they paid attention to detail and listened to our every want and need. They paid attention to issues on floorboards, trim, doors, closets, and offered to fix them for us. They even went back and redid a section for me only because i changed my mind last minute!
