Comments: CHW sent these guys to diagnose and repair AC issue. AC is under warranty and all parts are free. They have lied about additional fees, lied about availability of the parts and did not get parts replaced.
After 6 weeks I called Trane myself and realized all that after I was told that they aren't certified to perform this repair and there shouldn't be any extra charges.
They have promised to come 3 weeks in a row and missed every appointment without so much as a call.
Highly incompetent and unprofessional.

Comments: This pro was a no show on appointment (I/2/21) and has not called. They should not be recommended for any job.
We made every attempt to contact this homeowner on the day of the appointment. When the tech was on his way to the home the homeowner was called but there was no answer. It is company policy that if there isn't an answer from the homeowner DO NOT go to the home. I attempted to call the homeowner to offer a free service call the next day but didn't recieve an answer either.

Comments: Tech came out and we paid around $50 for a visit fee even though the technician was unable to solve the problem because he needed to do some more research. He said he'd call back the next day. He never did. So I called the company 2 days later and the administrative assistant said she'd get me a reply by the end of the day. It's been 3 more days now and no one will call me back with an answer.

UPDATE:
In the end they called back and answered.
I apologize for your inconvenience. We have had some office shortages with the pandemic but our back up to full strength now. Thank you for the feedback.

Comments: This company was assigned to me by my home warranty company. The technician came to assess why my house wasn't cooling off. He "added" freon (I later found out he didn't and diagnosed a malfunctioning TXV valve. Unfortunately, that wasn't covered by the warranty so it was going to cost me $895. I wanted a second opinion so I called the company I usually use and they came the next day and said I don't even have a TXV valve on my system, plus the coil is leaking. I called Choice Home Warranty and they decided to send yet another technician who agreed with my guy: no TXV valve, coil needed replacement and no freon was added.
I would not recommend this company.

Comments: Kurt and Darius did a great job repairing my furnace. They went above and beyond to suggest and explain what needed to be done. They never tried to upsell or pressure me to buy something I didn't need. They took the time to cycle my system several times to be sure it was fixed properly. Their pricing was almost 20% less than the 3 other estimates I received. Texas AC & Heat is my go to going forward.
